I heard some of the Hornell Kids stats on the local radio station that covers IC sports at times. The stats speak for themselves. The kid appears to be a stud, and he obviously did a lot of winning in high school. A great get for IC. It will sound strange for a Fisher fan to say this, but IMHO upstate football is so much better when IC is good and in the mix for the E8. Hopefully this is the start.

I noticed that the Courage Bowl is slated for Growney this year.

I saw that as well. I like that the game will be back on campus, so it will feel much bigger, but I actually liked the move to downtown. I thought it was a foundation for something special.

Any more information out of Fisher from the spring? I watched the Notre Dame spring game today and I am really feeling the college football itch. Way too much time before Week 1....

Love the 6 home games this year too!

I for one like that the courage bowl is back on campus!
The schedule looks very difficult yet challenging to the point that we will find out how good we are quickly.
I cant wait for this season!

Just heard that AU got a QB from Cortland. I don't know the kid, but he had a good year for Cortland this year. Good get for AU.

If, in fact, that materializes, that's great news!

Meanwhile, in other news, AU will have a new athletic director in July.

Yes, the last time Salisbury went to Growney, it was a classic match-up, I was fotunate enough to be part of that game and be on the winning side, I can see it being a great contest again as well.

Still can't believe that game was decided with a defensive play when neither team could stop each other...

That game could still be going on right now if a fisher lineman didn't blow his assignment allowing that sack to happen...

Just a classic. I remember I woke up that morning and was going back and forth on if I wanted to go to the game, and ultimately decided to stay home...ouch!!!!

Hopefully Fisher can find a QB and finally beat SU this time.

Cards- what qb are you looking for.
From all accounts it seems that Kramer is the go to guy!

Someone else. I love Kramer as a football player, but think Fisher was so much better with a true QB in the backfield, and Kramer lined up as a slash player (RB, Slot Receiver, etc.). If I had a say Fisher would run a more traditional offense, and find all sorts of ways to get Kramer the ball. I love the backfield with Cody Miller and Kramer sharing the carries (Alex Stacy is a nice third as well), and they could split Kramer out and use a lot of different sets to confuse defenses and make it very difficult to prepare for.

Cards- I have no argument.
The only thing I can add is that if Ryan is the most talented QB then you have to keep him there.
You dont put a 2nd stringer in just to free up Kramer in the slot.

I agree here.. I think Kramer is the man.. and is the best they got and need. he wins games and gets the job done
