Buffalo State   1-6   2-8

Buffalo State: Struggles against E-8 Competition.

By the way, I very much disagree with this assessment of Buffalo State. I believe that they at least go 3-4 in the E8 (Utica, Frostburg, and Hartwick, I think they'll beat). They could possibly be as good as 5-2 in the conference. Unfortunately, I think they'll likely go 1-2 OOC. However, in summary, I think they'll be very competitive in E8 play.

#43697
Therefore, I guess If I had to Choose, the following would be my selection for Final Standings:

St. John Fisher 7-0, 9-1 (Beats Salisbury at home, loses one of the first two OOC games, TMC can be a stiff test to begin)
Salisbury, 6-1, 8-2 (I think they'll get beaten on the Road by Fisher, lose to Wesley or CNU, more likely Wesley)
Alfred 4-3, 5-4 (Beats Ithaca, loses to Buff State)
Ithaca 4-3, 5-5 (loses to Alfred, beats Buff State)
Buffalo State 4-3, 5-5 (Beats Alfred, loses to Ithaca)
Hartwick 2-5, 4-6 (Meh, they get the two below them at home)
Utica 1-6, 2-8 (Thought they were moving on up a few years back, not so sure)
Frostburg 0-7, 1-9 (Tough year for Frostburg, the "easier" games are on the road, and even at home I don't think they'll beat the bigger teams)

Nice pg04. Just for discussion sake, dlip would flip the top two. And dlip would be quite surprised if the Gulls lose the CNU. He also thinks this may just be the year Salisbury beats a very good Wesley team.

Pg- I tend to agree with the assesment minus UC.
I think they win at least 2 or 3 E8 games and pull out a tough OOC game or two.
4-6 maybe?
The winnable E8 games would be Wick, Frostburgh and Buff St.

dlippiel

Dlip takes it back after doing some reading about Wesley. He didn't realize they return so many. 7 on each side of the FB, including a very talented QB and a few top notch defenders. Always seems like Wesley is such a tough order for Salisbury, even when the gulls are at their best. I guess Wesley is a tough order for anyone though...except maybe the top 2 you know who's :)

Is this dlip writing in third person done to be cute or is it the product of an over-inflated ego? Just wondering.

The bottom 3 are the toughest to peg because it is hard to tell how bad they may be. I could see Utica winning 2 games, I'm not sure if they'd beat Buff State.

As for Fisher vs. Salisbury, I am basing this on the fact that the D3 poll has them quasi equal, so being the long trip for the Gulls, I think Fisher can do it.

Pg totally agree.
Utica is an enigma.
Blaise is trying to shore up his team and even thought he is optimistic....I cant get a handle on this team.

Upstate

Really wondering about the QB from Georgia, how in the hell did they get a kid from way down there?

He looks like a good athlete, good arm.  Will be interesting to see if he can come in and get playing time right away.
The views expressed in the above post do not represent the views of St. John Fisher College, their athletic department, their coaching staff or their players. I am an over zealous antagonist that does not have any current connection to the institution I attended.

Upstate,
I saw the highlight reel and it was nice, but the guy would have to be Boltus esque in order to unseat Kramer.
He could be our future, but dont think for a minute that he is going to be a starter.

I tought he looked good on the video as well, and that is some good high school football down in GA. Excited to see if he can crack into the lineup, but agree it is really tough with Kramer entrenched like he is. If he is good enough to start, Fisher just got a lot better!
GO FISHER!!!

Cards,
I was thinking the exact same thing when I saw the tape--that is quality hs football down there.
Wow.
If he is a gunslinger and runner to boot- that will bode well for the Future of Fisher!
