Clip of Joshua Oliver, an incoming IC freshman who is getting snaps at WR. I know nothing about projecting talent, so I offer this without comment

I heard this kid was good.  Looks like he could be a decent returner down the road if he bulks up a little.

On another note, some spinless coward is spiting me every day inbetween the hours of 12am-7am.  Bastard.  Could be some punk from the politics board but I don't say too much there.

Yeah, Pep has been smitten a bit of late as well. Here's some +K for ya, Utes.

Pep caught about half an hour of new recruits practice yesterday afternoon.

One guy in particular "stood out." Seems an offensive lineman was so big (6-4, 350) that the equipment manager had to order a new helmet...AU didn't have one large enough!

+K to you both!

In regards to that Oliver kid, two words.

BUBBLE SCREEN.

I'd put that kid in the slot and just give the ball to him as many ways as possible.  He looks like a terror in the open field.

Oliver looks good fellas. Kid seems to blossom omce he finds space. Could be a dangerous weapon for the bombers if he adapts to the level of play.

+K all around here as well.

I really never notice the Karma that much, but I just happend to notice mine getting hit a little.  So I watched it for 10 straight days go down 1 notch every morning when I checked.  This basically means some idiot is going out of their way to go back on the boards and smite me.

I'm going to find you, and I'm going to.....well I guess all I can do is smite you back and shame you on the internet.  That's enough for now I guess.

And one would think that people should be better than to go around sniping people every day. That stinks. I have been looking for a replacement "reputation" system but haven't had a lot of time to do so lately.

Most times my karma hits involve venturing into the Politics boards. It does seem kinda silly if someone is actually doing that. I wish I had that kind of time.

Ithaca does churn good returners out like it's an assembly line. But he is incredibly small. I know DIII WR's aren't giants, but the kid is 5'6'' 155. Reminds me a little bit of Troy Canada, who mainly functioned as a KR, although he was like, 27.

In a related story, Ithaca's finally got some size on the offensive line. According to the 2012 roster, Benvenuto went from 250 to 293, Matt Joyce, a senior, is up from 266 to 288, and Rampa's gone from 260 to 276. They've got two freshman offensive lineman who are 6-3, 270, and another who is 6-0, 280. Obviously, this doesn't mean they're better/good automatically, or even that they'll stay on the team. But it's nice to see some bigger bodies coming in.

Additionally, there are by my count, 10 more incoming players from last season. So hopefully some more talent coming in.

Yeah, but it beats the 230-250 pound guys they were throwing out there.

Just by way of comparison, in 2010, IC had four OL listed at 260 or higher. This year, there are 13 such OL. Now, 260 is still small, but hey, at least it's not woefully undersized

PBR...

250 to 293??? wtf did he eat a cow? Something strange here to put on that much weight in that short of time. If true I can't imagine it's healthy weight i.e. muscle....I can see 20 pounds or so but 43 pounds in an off-season? whew suicides could be painful for that boy

Yea I think at one of the preseason meetings the SID staff comes in and has all the players fill out some info including height and weight.  The players probably put in their own numbers.
