Ugly showing for the Saxons.  Was unable to watch the whole game but definitely looks like some things needs to be addressed on the offensive line.  Defensive secondary was not impressive either.  Sopak looked uncomfortable.  Hopefully RPI is a sleeper team and this isnt a reflection of how the Saxons season will transpire.

On paper, even with the key losses, dlip thought Alfred was going to be better than what dlip saw today. He means, they didn't look bad per say. dlip will agree though that Sopak looked very uncomfortable today. He made some very poor decisions. Yet he was pressured throughout. dlip wished the Saxons all the luck on the rest of their season. They certainly look like they have some excellent athletes.

Fisher comes from behind to beat a solid Wash ans Jeff team!
Wow what a turnaround!

Very impressed with the W&J team, their RB is very shifty and had some power behind his pads.  Their QB is really tough, he reminds me of Romo.  Very good on the run making plays downfield. He took a beating today and had that team on the verge of a win.  Their D was really fast and kept Fisher in check for most of the game.

Tons of crow to eat, I didn't think Kramer could get it done but he made some great throws in the clutch especially the deep ball that went 90yds.  The offense needs a ton of work still but I'm happy to eat crow today.

The whole Kramer dynamic baffles dlip. The kid is obviously just an amazing athlete and has the potential to blow it up with his feet and occasionally with his arm. Plus he is winning games and led the Cardinals to an excellent NCAA showing. Just a question; would this Fisher O benefit from more of a pocket passer and using Kramers talent in other areas of the O?

Good win for Fisher! When they didn't get down by a lot initially, I had a feeling that they were going to turn it around. It's good to see that they can make such a turnaround when adversity hits them.

Buffalo State did not seem like a team that should have beaten Cortland with so many points. They had explosive moments, but they aren't as good as I originally thought. Meanwhile (though not E8 yet), I think Brockport's QB Joe Scibilia is very good and has improved greatly.

I think so, the offense really lacks a consistent passing game.  Their off tackle and outside stuff has been bottled up when they don't make plays in the passing game down field.  The past two years teams start crowding the line and taking away the outside stuff.  That's what was very apparent today, W&J was really fast and took away EVERYTHING outside because they didn't respect the passing game.

I said earlier in the week that I think they go 9-1 but it will be a 9-1 that will make you want to pull your hair out.  That was pretty apparent today.

Agreed, and I would add that if Fisher did use more of a pocket passer having that threat would actually make Kramer that much more dangerous. Open things up and move those corners off the line of scrimmage.
GO FISHER!!!

I can't wait to see how Salisbury does tonight. If they win, watch out E8 (although, even if they don't win, do they really drop too far?)

To me Kramer proved everything bad I had to say about him today. He made throws down field and stayed in the pocket throwing good balls. 10 for 24 doesnt show the game he had. Drop balls and throw aways. I think people can stop talking bout his deep ball because that was what won fisher the game today. Huge win and proud to be a fisher fan today

I don't think anything that happens tonight will change peoples perception of SU rolling the E8 again, unless the first and second string QB's go down...

To fans of D-3 football everywhere.  I am honored to have been asked to spread the word regarding a new cancer fund that has been established to help Tom Pattison, UW-W sports broadcaster and founder of www.warhawkfootball.com    I and my family know, all to well, how a cancer diagnosis can be devastating to a families daily lives and finances. Please, consider making even the smallest donation to Tom.

The following is an open letter by Retired UW-W Coach Bob Berezowitz:

Team Tom Cancer Fund Drive established

Once a Warhawk, always a Warhawk are the often spoken words by Tom Pattison, longtime "voice" of the Warhawks. Over the many years of broadcasting UW-Whitewater football, basketball and baseball games on KOOL 106.5 (and prior to that (940 WFAW), Tom has "bled purple" during each one of his broadcasts.

Unfortunately, on May 28, 2012 Tom was diagnosed with advanced stage 2 colon cancer. He underwent colorectal cancer surgery in Fort Atkinson and in the process has developed astronomical hospital and medical bills.

Tom has already gone through the first phase of radiation treatment at the UW Cancer Clinic along with chemotherapy with phase two starting later this month.

Tom has given his heart and soul to Warhawk athletics over his 25 years of living here in southern Wisconsin. He served six years as the president of the UW-Whitewater Quarterback Club and still serves on the club's board of directors.

In 2003 Tom founded Warhawkfootball.com where Warhawk fans, players, former players and parents have been able to view up-to-date Warhawk football news and information 365 days a year. Nearly 1.5 million visitors have clicked onto the Website over the years.

The Website that has been funded entirely by Tom has been a popular "voice" for Warhawk football fans not only locally but around the world.

Well now Tom needs your assistance in his battle with cancer.

With the help and leadership of UW-Whitewater Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Dr. Paul Plinke and former Warhawk football coach Bob Berezowitz and KOOL 106.5 Radio a team has been set up to lead a campaign to raise funds for Tom.

The "Team Tom Cancer Fund" has been established through Commercial Bank in Whitewater and is now accepting donations.

Donations may be sent to: Team Tom Cancer Fund, c/o Commercial Bank, 200 South Freemont St. Whitewater, WI 53190

The fund raising drive will also include Tom Pattison Day at Perkins Stadium on Oct. 6, 2012. More details will be announced shortly.

"I have known Tom for many years while coaching and now in retirement," Berezowitz said. "There is not another person who has given more of himself to help promote UW-Whitewater football. He is always writing articles for both past and present players that are published on his Website.

It is now our turn to say "thank you" for his efforts by considering making a donation to the to assist Tom in his time of need.

Go Warhawks,

Fisher is now 2-0 against the top 2 teams in one of the South's better conferences (no matter how sloppily they arrived at 2-0) and it again demonstrates to me that the East region is not as weak as people always like to claim.  We are continually bashed for what comes down to the fact we literally do not have the 1 or 2 dominant teams of other regions.  The South has Wesley and MHB, the West has Linfield and UWW, the North has Mount Union and maybe a team like Wabash.  Ok great their top 2 teams are above ours, maybe not in the case of Wabash, but you know what I think the East is pretty damn even if not above some of the other regions in teams 3-60 or however many there are.  I know that when Fisher plays against South region teams in the playoffs (Johns Hopkins and Muhlenberg) or otherwise I'm not super worried.  It would be nice for this stigma on our region to go away.

Humbling experience today for the BENGAL faithful. Hopefully Kelly Clarkson is right when she says
"What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger...."

MY BENGALS escaped pretty injury free. Cut down on the turnovers (2 ints, including a pick 6) and cut down on the penalties (12 for 114 yards). Not much time before a visit to #1 ranked Wisconsin- Whitewater next weekend.

  Gotta "Keep hope alive!" ;)
