New top ten is out. Fisher drops to 10, swapping spots with Cal Luth, who lost to Linfield this week?

It's who you play I guess.  Losing to Linfield by 3 is definitely more impressive than beating the U of R by 4.  I don't understand how Salisbury and Wabash swapped the 7 and 8 spots after Salisbury won by 63 points.  Wabash beat a below average Denison team by 33.

cards, might be the first time i have seen a team lose and move up a spot.  not sure how that happens but I think that there was some rethinking by some pollsters.  I am not sure if UWW should be at 4.  If it was any other team besides them and Mount would they have only dropped 3 spots.  I get the rep thing and all, but isn't this supposed to be about this year.  They did lose to a 1 loss unranked team who gave up 30+ points and 500 + yards the week before.  I am not sure if Wesley should be 6, only that they should be ahead of Salisbury.  In the end the great thing about D3 is that the polls are only for discussion, they get to play it out on the field and we shall see in Dec.

I don't know about the rankings. I believe teams that are in the Top 12 should be in the Top 12, but there should be some type of re arrangement. I do not know how Salisbury swap with Wabash and Whitewater losing to an unranked team at home, I still feel at this time they deserve to be Top-10, but not Top-4, just MHO. Also, I didn't know by losing you could move up (i.e. Cal Lutheran.) Even though St. John Fisher has had some close games, they still won and are undeafeated.

Nevertheless, since we have many more games and a playoff at the end of the season, everything will clear itself out, especially if we have cross-regional match-ups again. At least we all can have some nice discussions this week.

Agreed. Typically I don't think too much about the rankings, but I can't recall any ranking I have seen where a team that lost moved up, and jumped past a team that won. Just struck me as odd is all.

No offense to ith radio, but I've never really been interested to listen until I've heard the boyes interview.  I'm going to listen Tomorrow at work. 

I'm also getting this strange feeling that this " upstate super conference" we always love to talk about on the boards is shaping up as we speak.  With Norte dame agreeing to this ACC thing, why not have all upstate teams get together and work something out?

More a reflection of Wesley slipping a couple spots than anything Wabash accomplished this week, I suspect.

This is absolutely not the first time that has happened. I can't cite chapter and verse right now, but it has happened before.

Curious to hear your thoughts -- and thanks for your interest, be it recent or not.

A big congratulations to Buffalo State, there wasn't a single lucky thing that happened that resulted in their victory over UWW.  Buff State played extremely hard and fast all game and their last drive was clutch and made possible by players making plays. 

I was not surprised in the least bit that Buff State was such a tough opponent- as I said so a month ago.

Unlike the other UWW posters that have been more than kind on this board responding to ridiculous criticism of UWW fans, I take exception to those that made such blanket negative comments- especially you wesleydad.  Your post was low class and not indicative at all of the overwhelming majority of posts that were made by UWW fans regarding the game. 

As for the polls, I too think the pollsters were too generous to UWW.  Certainly Wesley and several other teams deserve a higher ranking than UWW at this point of the season.

It is, however, indicative of the majority of posts over the past seven years made by UWW fans towards Wesley. I know you haven't been here that long, but he has, and obviously I have as well.
