I think St. John Fisher has a good chance of beating Utica, that secondary of SJF (especially the Sant kid) are going to be something that the Utica QB is going to have deal with. On the other side, I do not think Utica is big enough up front on the D-Line to contain the SJF running attack. However, this Utica team finds ways to score and if SJF does not control the clock and score TD, it may go the other way easily. Good Luck to both teams tomorrow.

SJFC - 5
Utica - 3

You wait and see

Psh....

SJF- 2
UC- 0

Went to Cortaca today and what a game it was. A tough one to lose for IC, as I thought they played a really good game. Very impressed with both teams.
GO FISHER!!!

Attention to a few Fisher and other E8 posters that need an update on Ryan Kramers status and proficiency today....
His demise was greatly premature. . To a few fellow posters...we have disagreed on where and how to utilize Ryan.

Well,
Upstate- You werent at the game today and I saw a proficient passer a great qb.
Cards- When forced to throw from the pocket, Ryan played at a new high level.

Gentlemen, Fisher played A COMPLETE GAME today and it was in large part to RYAN KRAMER....if there are doubters, please let me know because there were alumni from the past 30 years that saw this go down..

pg04

As one would expect you came on here to kind of smash this in the detractor's faces. Of course, if we want to take one game as meaning he's an awesome QB, well then go ahead. As I said elsewhere, I call this "Ryan Fitzpatrick Syndrome"

And as a person who has been alive for, oh my gosh, 30 years  :o, Gentlemen, I can certainly say stuff.

fisheralum91

PG- I get your thoughts...
Ryan kramer proved on many occasion that he can win.
Ryan Fitzpatrick proved on many occason that he can lose.

I am totally sick of all of the Kramer bashing.
Fisher beat the CRAP out of UC today.
The game was never in doubt..
Upstate and cards will find fault in something and i gotta say after talking to many players parents......bitch about nothing.....
If you have that solid an "opinion" about a team....dear god get to know it first..

what a great bunch of men!

Congratulations to Coach Murray on his 100th win as the AU head coach!  In the second half AU went almost excusively to the wildcat formation.  They scored 30 points with 2 wide receivers and a defensive back to go along with only 1 running back left from the depth chart.  The O-line was outstanding in allowing the running game to take over!

Easy does it FA91.  Nothing like an afternoon against the UC defense to make an offense look All World.....

Always a pleasure to see you at an AU game, sarge! Pep joins you in offering kudos to Coach Murray on Win #100! This season has certainly had plenty of surprises...it keeps Pep looking to the program to identify some of those young Saxons out there who play like seasoned veterans. Another tremendous game by Maleke Fuentes....quicker than lightning! And you're right about that O-line, sarge. Talented group...even on the stage. Gotta love these Saxons...and their parents. Never takes much to get the crowd to cheer for our Saxons. Pep is thinking they've got another game left in them....

On Saxon Warriors!

Absolute congratulations to Coach Murray and the team! All things considered, Coach Murray should be highly considered for coach of the year in the E8.

I wouldn't call our thoughts Kramer bashing. I can't recall anyone who said he wasn't a great talent, or that Fisher wasn't a better team with him. We just questioned the way he was being used. I said early on the year that if he was going to be the QB, then just run a true option and have him rush the ball 45-50 times a game. The idea of him standing in the pocket and trying to make throws is not the best way to use him.

He played great yesterday, but Fisher struggled to Move the ball against almost every other team this year. I think Kramer is a heck of a football player, and from everything I have heard and seen a great kid as well, but I don't think he was the best option at QB this year. And, if he was the best option, he wasn't used correctly.

I don't think that is bashing on the kid.

GO FISHER!!!

I think yesterday's game shows what a good coach Dave Murray is.  At halftime AU was down 7-0 and the offense hadn't moved the ball well at all.  Hartwick had any number of sacks and continuously harassed the QB.  In the second half the QB was only on the field for ONE play, a 3rd and long.  AU went excusively to the wild cat and dominated the scoreboard and the rest of the game.  A great adjustment at halftime was the difference in the game.  Congrats AU on finishing well with a depleted line-up.
Pep, it was great spending the game chatting with you.  Thanks on the heads-up on Mark O'Meara.  On Saxon Warriors!

Pep was somewhat amused at Homecoming when 1974 alum Mark O'Meara, who since enrolling at AU has never missed a Homecoming football game, got a late start on leading his "Give me an A" cheer, waiting for announcer Bill LaCourse to complete his mention of game sponsors, etc. It just so happened that this year, a film crew was following O'Meara around during the game. So when O'Meara finally got his cheer started, the Saxons were lined up to run a play and just as he finished, AU scored a touchdown, with the crowd erupting into cheers. A video feature of O'Meara appears at: http://alfredmagazine.alfred.edu/post.cfm/three-cheers-for-alfred-university

I love it when one game vs a crappy defense is supposed to change reality.
