Any word on the ECAC pairings?
GO FISHER!!!

I've combed through the bracket a few times now.  Perhaps somebody can assist me...where the heck is Fisher in the first round and who are they playing against?

I think they are evaluating that now and will announce to coaches Sunday Afterrnoon or evening, that's usually how it played our for Salisbury in the past.

Not very happy with the SU/Rowan match-up. dlip likes both teams and would have liked to see them both start out with different opponents. The Profs have a tough D and better use it because they won't keep up IF it gets into a shoot out.

unBILLeivable that they didnt make it.  Also UnBILLeivable that Fitzpatrick threw that Int at end...he is usually SOOOO clutch in that spot and the Bills almost always find a way to win the close ones....HAHAHAHHAHHAHHAHHHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

having seen both teams play this year i give a slight edge to rowan.  agree that it can not be a shoot out, rowan cant win that game.  tough d may slow down the gulls who have not been very explosive this year.  a tough game for both teams and i agree dlip, should not have to play each other until round 2, but it is what it is.  i have 3 games to choose from, widener against bridgewater st, blow out, wesley against mt ida, blow out, or the longest drive the gulls and profs game.  guess which game i am leaning towards since i hate blow outs.

Salisbury's second loss made it so that they would have been very lucky to get an "easier" game.

Pep has already contacted the Boston, MA chapter of the AU Pep Band Alumni Association and is hoping members will be able to play at Saterday's game. They were the difference last year at Bridgewater State. Score before the alums showed up (midway thru second quarter) was Bridgewater 10, Alfred 0. Once the band started playing, the Saxons went on a rampage, winning 41-10.

Meanwhile, Pep has a few instruments planning to hop aboard the Pep Bandwagon and plans are to make the trip. Pep has learned over the years that it doesn't take a HUGE band to support the Saxons. Heck, a trumpet, a bass drum and a Wiley Coyote Kazoo did the trick Saterday at Wright "The Cage" Stadium.

On Saxon Warriors!
On Saxon Warriors! On to Victory!
...Fight, fight for Alfred, A-L-F, R-E-D!

According to Weather.com, it appears that this weekend in Salisbury it should be around 54 degrees and partly cloudy (10 mph wind), should be a good day for the Seagulls.

How does this SU game look this weekend? I haven't spent much time looking at the game, so I am interested in what others who have are thinking. I am pulling hard for SU, and the E8!

Funny that you ask, the Seagulls look the same every weekend, except the fact that I believe that the guys that were injured mid-season are coming around and getting healthy. Honestly, I have no clue what to expect from Rowan, haven't seen them play, have listen to audio, looks to be a game featuring the pass vs. run and you know which team is expected to be doing the most running. I think playing in the tough E 8 agaist multiple offenses is going to help the Seagulls. However, the concern on my end is, how is Rowan defense going to contain Salisbury Offense. I have seen the good, the bad, and the ugly of Salisbury. Hopefully, if we can get the good, we have a decent chance. Any of the other two, the bad and the ugly, it could be an Alfred situation with barely holding on or an Ithaca situation, with us packing up. Nevertheless, I think the Seagulls will be ready and the coaching staff does a phenominal job getting the players ready, it is up to them and how they want to execute. If you're not busy and live near by, come enjoy and watch a game that appears to the best game for the east region and safe travels if you do.

I think you are wrong with your Rowan pick. I think Salisbury wins by more then a TD. I do not think the Rowan "D" can handle the Salisbury "O". In the D3 Pick-Em I have you guys going to Salem, don't screw me up again. :)
It ain't over till it's over, and when you get to the fork in the road, take it.

PBR...
