Deadspin did an article ranking the 39 cheapest American beers by taste.

Utica Club finished 4th best. One ahead of PBR and behind original Coors (the banquet beer), Naragansett ( did I read Johnny Utah lives in Mass ? has he had it ?) and Grain Belt Premium (MN).
To quote the article :

4. Utica Club. This has a fair bit going on, flavor-wise, which is risky business. Less is usually much more in this price category, but UC is the rare cheapie that pulls off its dangerous ambition. This Central New Yorker's unique vegetal maltiness is much better than the phrase "unique vegetal maltiness" suggests. I'll never write their marketing copy, but I'll always drink their beer.

This list is awful. I've actually never had Utica Club so I can't comment on that, but I seem to disagree with a lot of the ordering. Of course I guess it's a matter of opinion and taste.

The comments to the article were quite the treat. People have hard opinions on beer so you can imagine there was a lot of teeth knashing. Yuengling fans to seemed to be the most butt hurt. It didn't fare very well..somewhere in the middle.

I'll use this as an opportunity to rant and randomly say that the phrase "butt hurt" really annoys me. I'm not bashing you or anything but the phrase invokes irrational anger in me for some reason (and don't say I'm butt hurt about "butt hurt"). It's like we've all created and invoked a whole new language. Why did I make this post? i don't know, just in a bad mood and this is a good place as any to rant. 

If this were the "anything but D3 topic" I might ask as a topic, which colloquial words or phrases annoy you?

My wife sometimes says "I heart" something.

Drives me nuts.

I much prefer to say I "less-than-three" something.

And I'll add "bush league" to the list of annoying words, irregardless of the fact it's two words.

Okay, I have to admit, I use some of those words. Now if the East somehow win those OOC games posted in my poll that are played in the first couple weeks of the season, how will the committee view the East come playoff time?

Physicality. And one that shows up more in basketball as a phrase "broke the plane of verticality". Those two irritate me since they are nonsense. I also can't stand broadcasters that say "he's out with a knee" or "he's out with an elbow". No, he is not. He is out with an injury to a knee or elbow.

If the East could get a team from a good conference and a decent OOC through at 10-0, they'd get a #1 seed. If they don't, they probably won't.

However, if we consider the opponents, that including Wesley, UMHB, UW-W, and Otterbein, you have to say if they do and if they do, any team that ends undefeated should get the #1 seed in the East. Looking at last year UMHB and Wesley are clearly the best two southern teams, UW-W is traditionally the #1 West team, and Otterbein being in the OAC goes a long way.
