Monkey stomps are delivered in multiples of 21 points.

Ah! 42 points is a double-monkey stomp. Thank you for the correction.

Just got back from the game...

A hell of an offensive performance by everyone. 770 yards of offense is just crazy. Hats off to Fenti for the amazing performance. Was on fire all day with the 453 yards. He should have had another 25 yards and another TD as Kramer should have had a TD grab at the end of the half but ball bounced out of his hands as he hit the ground. Having a QB with 400+ yards, two WRs with 150+ yards and a RB with 200+ yards is just Madden like. Great job by the line today. Gave Fenti lots of time for most of the game and really made some nice holes for Miller and Kramer to run through...

I was really impressed by the W&J passing game, Bliss is ridiculously good, was always composed and made really good decisions with the ball. Barrafio (spelling?) was on fire, he found openings in the zones with ease. Wasn't impressed with their run game but their RB was pretty shifty...

Really unfortunate that Bliss got hurt, he is a great QB. Hopefully it's not serious but it certainly looked it. If Bliss comes back they go 9-1...

Defensively it's hard to stop a great QB and WR combination, especially when you play a lot of zone like Fisher does. They stuffed the run game all day, they got 45 yards out of a broken play by the QB other than that they had a solid day vs the run. The secondary can really hit though. They had some really hard tackles and was impressed with the DB that nailed the W&J receiver while he was in the air and didn't allow him to come down in bounds with the ball...

Kicker just missed a FG which is a concern (again) and they blew their lane assignments on the big KR that thankfully didn't lead to points thanks to the defense. The penalties are, once again, just ridiculous. Way too many personal fouls after the play. Holdings and stuff like that can happen but there's way too much jawing and late shots on both sides of the ball.  Moore is probably going to get ejected again just based on reputation. He leveled a WR that just stepped out of bounds but the refs were late with the whistle. He has to use his head and not go for the kill shot there...

What did you think of the "fumble" Kramer had deep in the redzone?  I think that drive should have kept on going.  That combined with the dropped touchdown right before the end of the half - this could have been a pretty huge blowout.

Hats off to Salisbury for one hell of a game today.  A 44 yard Hail Mary TD on 4th and long with less than a minute to go was the difference and Wesley pulled it out.  Salisbury deserved the game ball for sure.  They played some tough ball today.  Cudos.

Could not see it, was on the opposite end (near the athletic center) and there was a line of Fisher players in the way...

The one call that ticked me off was the 3rd down Pass Interference on Moore on the goal line. He hit the WR as soon as the ball got there and they threw a flag. Gave W&J 7 as the ball was placed on the one. Sure W&J was probably going to go for it anyways being so deep in Fisher's territory but that was a terrible call...

I am just getting back from the game as well, and had some thoughts. I thought Fisher looked really good. With the pass interference call on that 4th down in the third quarter, and the "fumble" the refs took a potential score off the board, and gave a score to W&J. The officiating was terrible all day. Not sure what that was all about, but fortunately the better team won. (Anyone know why they gave W&J the ball on the 25 after a touchback?)

The Fisher offense was really good today obviously, but the big play ability was what really impressed me. The defense was strong as well. That offense has talent and they did a great job keeping them in check. It looks like it will be very tough to run on Fisher this year.

Good game, and a great result for the home team.
GO FISHER!!!

It was a new rule that started last season I believe to try and encourage more touchbacks instead of teams running it out.  Teams can get the ball on the 25 on kickoff touchbacks but it is still the 20 for punts.

Utica up 22-9 at halftime.

Sounds like the Montclair /Salve game. We came away with a "W" by the grace of God. Who knows what to expect in Mayberry next week.
It ain't over till it's over, and when you get to the fork in the road, take it.

Utica wins

Union's offense just isn't the same w/o Kyle Reynolds.  Defense actually played tough and Utica looked pretty solid overall.  Will be interested how they fare vs Hobart in Geneva next Saturday night.

Good job Buff St in the annual I 90 shootout. 42-40 win.
Over 1000 yards of combined offense. Defenses need not apply. Brockport went from "D of the week " " D of the weak".
Buff st  598 yards of offense (8.3 yards per play !) Brockport 546 yards of O..7.5 yards per play.
Kacz  385 yards passing..89 yards rushing. Bport rookie QB Stoldt 414 passing yards 5 TDs and 0 INTs !
Bport RB Nichols 82 rush yards and 5+ per carry.  Buff st RB Rich Pete steps up with 105 yards rushing and 9.5 yards a carry. wow.
Bports 2 top receivers 100 + each in receiving yards. Buff st rec Mike Doherty 200 + receiving yards( but no TD).
Wow..just a battle of attrition..again it seems.
Congrats to Bengalsfan and Buff St fans. Next week Brockport hosts Alfred under the lights.
Tough pill to swallow for Lancaster native Bport HC Jason Mangone..his offense was lights out again..but now as HC.."his defense" got gashed.

PS..Buff state has already clinched the fictional "Tri SUNY Cup" by already beating Cort and Bport. Sorry..I don't count Morrisville. Maybe when they give up less than 50 points to Hartwick.
