Thanks sjf. I gotta buy you a beverage when we visit Nov 9th (or Nov 16th). I'm hoping that this BENGALS ship gets righted before undefeated Ithaca comes to town. After Sat. we will have only 2 home games left (out of 6)!

Go BENGALS!!!

Psst...Fisher is at Buff St on the 9th!

GO FISHER!!!

Dlip likes what he saw from the Bombers this weekend. He thinks they are a better team than they were last year and may be a tough out this year in the league. Dlip wishes them luck on the rest of the season. If that offense can get a little more dynamic and threaten with some more big plays as the year progresses this D may make them one of the more formidable opponents in the E8.

Yup, the 16th is when Fisher plays the Brenton Brady Classic, err... the Courage Bowl.
Check out the official card game of the AU Pep Band - Str8 Eight!

Ithaca might have one of the best defenses and special teams units in the E8. They won't be a cakewalk for anyone, though they're still a 6/7 win team at best

Buff State BENGALS play at Fisher - MENS BASKETBALL on the 16th. I know I'll be at that game!

Thats why I put the 16th!!! ;)

P.s. Last time I was in Bobby Wanzer, they had a pretty decent snack stand! SJF....Drinks are still on me!! :) And if you make the ride up here on the 9th then I actually know a neat spot, next to the campus, for a real beverage! ;)

I see the Buff St - Ithaca game will be carried live on Time Warner Sports Network this Sat.
Plus ..I'm sure they will rerun the game all week like they did the Buff St- Bport game.
Should be a good game. Boyes being an IC alum and all. Back in the early-mid 90's these 2 football programs were dominant. IC with Neil Weideman at QB..and Buff st with Tracy Bacon.
This year.. I'll go with IC and their stout defense being the difference.

Congrats on IC TE Jared Prugar on being named to the Team of the Week!

TE Jared Prugar, Sr., Ithaca
Prugra had six catches for 165 yards in Ithaca's 17-3 win against Union, including a 56-yard catch that set up a touchdown two days later.

Pep is just wondering why it took a couple days before the Bombers finally punched it in.  ;)

Pep, they probably handed the ball off...

Seriously? After all these years, can't you just send me an email when you have a correction?

Saw the AFCA poll today....No real surprises..Some teams lower than I think should be--ie St. Thomas etc..but they eye opener for me was seeing HARTWICK getting votes....Really?  Cmon....really?

I'm sure Yanks wouldn't find that to be a very nice thing of you to say.  I believe they would have to start winning some E8 games first before any votes would be justified.  But it's not like teams can't turn around programs after rough patches.  It has to start sometime.    Hartwick went from 4-6 in 2006 to winning the conference in 2007, so even they specifically have a history of quick turnarounds.
