Down goes NCC...
Can someone say top 5?

I can say #6, but I don't think we are in any danger of jumping Linfield.

Oh, and welcome to the E8 Brockport.  Where regular season winning streaks come to an end in a hurry and losing streaks can quickly take their place.

I can second that. I did not see this coming a long way off. The more I watch this conference the more I come to appreciate the quality of the teams in it. Good win for UC!
GO FISHER!!!

As as soon as i typed it i knew i forgot Linfield..but heck 6 aint shabby!

UC- Who are you?
4-0 and i have seen you twice  and still have NO clue.
Passing game is painfully obvious that its the Ace show and your ground attack is ok at best, and yet you are 4-0.
Lets see where things stand on Oct 18.....

B-Port..ouch....Even tho you were within a td most of the game---you were out of it....
Expected MUCH more.....

Good news for Fisher yesterday that the special teams looked much better. No real issues after the Brockport game where they were awful quite honestly.

Fisher has won in different ways so far. Week one was the Fenti show. Week two was all the running backs. And yesterday, they just dominated start to finish. That defense has been good very week however, which will keep them in ebry game.
GO FISHER!!!

dlippiel

Dlip will tell you he bets starting Sr. QB Connor Butkiewiez (sp?) made a big difference for the Pioneers. Against Union, although there was inclement weather, Kasser really struggled at times. Dlip thinks you will see Connor getting the start for the rest of the season.

Interesting week for the Empire 8 with some key games. I think St. John Fisher has to really be impressive against Salisbury and take them to the wood shed. I think St. John Fisher has to continue to exploit the weak Salisbury Secondary and force Salisbury to run lateral defensively. If St. John Fisher can get 40+ on Salisbury and hold them under 20, I think they deserve to be a Top 5 team. Ithaca vs. Utica game looks to be interesting as well, as many you already mentioned, which Utica team shows up this upcoming weekend, the one that played against Frostburg or the one from this past weekend. I look for Ithaca defense to continue to dominate and special teams to perform well, it would be up to Ithaca offense if it can get the running game rolling, which I think they will this upcoming week.

Not while UWW, UMHB, UMU, Wesley and Linfield are undefeated. I have a feeling Salisbury will continue to have Fisher's number though but we'll have to see.

If it was ever set up for Fisher to finally beat Salisbury, this is the year. That does not mean that Fisher will win, but this has to be their best odds going into this game in years. SU has always given Fisher fits, and I am really hoping Fisher can stop that option offense.

Whenever Fisher has played Salisbury or Springfield it always came down to getting stops. They have scored enough on those teams, but could never seem to get off the field when they needed to.
GO FISHER!!!

Oh, I believe it. Fisher looks better this year then I have seen recently so it is their best shot. And I could be completely wrong in my prediction. Defense will probably win the game, I predict a high scoring affair either way.

That's a ton of travel for SU. Eastern Shore MD to Buff, back to MD..back up to Rochester..back to MD. Maybe they convinced the administration to let them roost at Lake Ontario for the week.

fisheralum91

Fisher gets off the SU snide this weekend.
Of that im not worried...
What happens between IC and UC is a little better of a game.

Bombers798891

Fisher is in a tough spot because Wesley killed Salisbury. If Fisher wants to send a message that they're on Wesley's level, they need a convincing win

fisheralum91

Any other year a "W" would suffice  ;D
