If Alfred State keeps it within 5 touchdowns, that would be a successful outing.  It's not going to be close, they are outmatched.

ASC just beat two non D3 schools, not exactly lighting the D3 world on fire...

I transferred from ASC to SJF so this is an interesting game for me but I don't see ASC staying within 45...

I am looking at this weekend as a glorified bye week. Take care of business and have the starters on the bench by halftime.

At least they'd be undefeated if they did!

Just lost to Frostburg and barely beat 0-6 Union....

IC may be a 3rd place or lower team at best (this season anyway) but we may see that someday soon. Bombers have looked into LL membership for FB in the past and I wouldn't be surprised if they joined w/i the next couple of seasons.

The 2nd and 3rd place teams in the Liberty League barely beat Union as well.  The Liberty League isn't a world beater, Ithaca would be fine.  Certainly not 3rd or lower "at best".

Was their a reason IC didn't move to the LL a few years ago when RIT and Springfield moved? It was my understanding that IC was being courted by the league. Don't get me wrong I am happy they stayed. They round out the E8 in so many sports, football not the least among them.

I never really understood the conference realignment thing at this level. Schools can't make any more money from jumping from one to another, so I guess it comes down to prestige? What Would IC really gain from moving?

If Pep remembers correctly, LL members did not accept Ithaca when it applied for membership last time. Has anything changed?

Do you mean in the E8?  Because they already have 4 wins.  Either way, I don't see that happening.  They will bounce back...just hopefully not against Fisher.

Speaking of the Cardinals - really lame now that we've reached the Alfred State portion of the schedule.  As a fan it is almost as if it's another bye week and we have to wait a couple of weeks before something meaningful again.  It sucks.
Perhaps Pep will print this out and post it on the bulletin board at the Orvis Activities Center. Pep is pretty sure the Pioneers, who by the way have won two consecutive games, will get a kick out of it.
On Saxon Warriors!

Hmmmm. I wonder if Pep will be attending the game this weekend? ;)  Tough boards here!! :o

Against a trade school and a junior college. One of those "wins" doesn't even count.

Pep will be across the street, down in the valley. The Cardinals will be on a hilltop overlooking the metropolis of Mayberry, which is a pretty sight these days.  :)
