I get it, but Fisher need to clean this up if it wants to win out and get a good seed, and they really need to clean it up if they make the playoffs.
GO FISHER!!!

Totally understand, but it still is a good day to be a Fisher fan!

By far and away the best sequence of plays were the the goal line stand by Fisher.

They stuff Buff St's QB keeper on 3rd and goal and BSC runs the same play again and is stuffed on 4th and goal...

Only to have the Fisher coaches to call time out just as the ball is snapped...

No play!!!

Fisher could have been demoralized and let BSC into the game if they were to allow a score but they hung tough and stuffed them again on 4th and 1 again!!!

Huge stand to keep the 10 point lead and to give the ball back to the offense!!!

Also worth pointing out that Preish was out this game but Hobart transfer Hyde was playing (I think for the first time) and recorded 2 huge sacks today!

Josh Oliver gets the surprise start at running back and has 166 yards on 26 carries. Sam Carney takes over PR duties and has five returns for 75 yards. The Bombers could be giving Fisher something they haven't seen

According to Coach Vos in the pregame interview Preish was back with the team and he said everything is "fine". It sounded like a discipline issue, but that is me reading into what he said. I was surprised he didn't play today, but I am hoping he is back next week.
GO FISHER!!!

I flipped over to IC/Port after the fisher game and the Port run D is just as bad as I remember vs Fisher...

They had Oliver surrounded at ICs own two yd line and yet they couldn't make the tackle and he breaks it from his own two to Ports 45...

I said the Wesley/COF could be something we've never seen at this level. Well, COF had 11 fumbles, 8 turnovers, and -45 yards. Wesley had 62 points and ran just 36 offensive plays. So glad that game got played

@d3jason

Well if the Bombers have an open date next season......

I think that thewaterboy would like to take back his comment made earlier in the week comparing College of Faith and Wilmington!!

Not even on the same planet or within the same galaxy :o

Oh geez, more hair splitting  ::)..If you followed the conversation, I gave some reasoning as to why I made said "comparison." While this game was worse than what I had anticipated, the fact remains that both schools offered no challenge to either team at almost any point in the game. That is more of what I was getting at. My clarification below:

thewaterboy says that College of Faith and Wilmington are the same in his opinion...............

That's why he's the waterboy ;D
They are the same in the sense that Wesley could put up 150 if they wanted to against CoF, and Mount (who for all intents and purposes can be argued as comparable teams) could have done the same to Wilmington last week! It is splitting hairs, but I dont think its necessarily going to redefine non-competitive or be "bad" for Division III football. It's just going to be another game where the players can go against another team, and the 2nd and maybe third teamers can get game experience. I agree that CoF is not that good, but I don't agree in the fact that it will redefine non-competitive or be a lose-lose-lose for everyone involved. Especially when Wesley has D1 Charlotte on Nov. 15.
