With that defense, and Lew was the first to say this and dlip agrees, that it wouldn't be so surprising to see Cortland lose out...or at least lose two of the last four.

Bengals win 62-0. On to Utica and some more E8 battles!!

Brockport beats Ithaca, because of course.

I wonder if anyone is going to get through the league with less than two losses.
I was small but made up for it by being slow...

Doubtful, because the teams just are not that good we have parity

Good win for Fisher today against Utica. They were in control most of the way, but the lead never really felt safe until Fisher pulled down a late onside kick attempt. The defense looked better as 7 of UC's points came off a pick 6. Good to see improvement from the defense but they are still a ways away.
GO FISHER!!!

After 5 games I finally saw fire and intensity in the eyes of the fisher players it was a team win offensively and defensively.

Definitely the best all around performance by the team this year.  Was proud of their effort.  Also, dogged the coaches for it earlier so I'll give them props now.  They are taking more chances offensively and aren't being as painfully predictable as before.

Hope they can keep improving.  I like the idea of Fisher just adding to the chaos within the E8 if they can win a few more conference games.  Not that I think they'll win the E8 or anything, but maybe play spoiler to another team.

I doubt that Cortland gets by Brockport, Morrisville and Ithaca unscathed.  They are the only team left with less than 2 losses in conference.  Like I said earlier this week, many eyes will be on season ender at Ithaca.  Many eyes!!👀👀👀

So, I'm thinking SJF and Brockport win out and on the last weekend IC wins Cortaca and Hartwick beats Utica with over 50 points of offense. Does that mean the Fisher posters come back from the dead for the playoffs or is my math wrong?  ;)

Would bring me back!

At this point, it is very much in play that the E8 could have a multi-way tie for the league title among several teams with 2 (or even 3!) league losses.

I agree 100%.

The C State cheese stands alone atop the conf at 4-1. Surprised to see Fisher only one game back in the standings. So despite all their early season shenanigans..they are right in the hunt. Brockport gets their shot at Cortland this weekend in a huge game for both. Brockport won a squeaker last year at Cortland ( I think Peebles was in)..and because of a schedule quirk I guess, Brockport travels again to Cortland this year.

Probably because Brockport and Cortland were in different conferences last year. E8 vs NJAC and now both are E8. Same reason why the BENGALS hosted the Red Dragons this year and last (no complaint there however).  Brockports loss in Buff States gain?!  ;)
