Given the state of IC's program, if he were auditioning for an interview, he should to a reprise of the 2010 Becker debacle, where he threw the ball up 65-13, and declined to take a knee to (for all intents and purposes) run out the clock with a 71-13 lead. Make the scoreboard spin

I remember when Blaise beat IC for the first time- it was quite a feat and he was genuinely taken aback by it.
Not only for the respect that he has for his alma mater but the fact that he had his program turned around to a point.
Then again isnt this year UC's year? ;D

Not as funny this year, as it has been in the past. I think UC is the real deal this year.

Been hiding for a bit since the Dragons have been tamed! Hoping for some of the dogs to come out and breathe a little fire today and get that win! What's the scoop on the C State qb rotation? Anybody out there have any info?

SJF at 5-0 is great.  But man it has not been dominate and they are lucky.   Lot of players banged up on O, and the Defense couldn't be any worse.  Buff State WR drops a pass in the breadbasket that would have changed the outcome.  This is the worst defensive unit since Voz's first year

Hartwick QB putting up unbelievable numbers against Cortland.

And now it is not E8 but if you have the capability, the UWP/UWW game available on Video is turning out be a good game.

Bartman

Congrats to the Bombers(future LLer needs to finish strong) on finding some offense today, I knew the Defense was there....Utica star is certainly dimmer now

Refer to my post on the game updates about you being a broken record and sounding like a hyperbolic idiot.

And it wasn't "in his breadbasket."  He extended out and tried making a one handed grab that bounced off of said hand.

booby, i agree with you.  I watched the game and although Fisher gives up yards it is not close to a terrible defense.  They make plays.  Buff st had chance and just got stopped by the D.  Nice win today.

Fisher beat the Bengals with their second string back field today. Chambers was out before the first half was done, possible broken bone in his foot. Naton was out with a hand injury and fusco is out for 2 more weeks. Agreeded the defense has to step it up, to relieve the offense next  few weeks.

Upstate

Naton is probably out the same length of time as Fusco...

Looks like the freshman Fiutko and the Defensive End Smith are your starting QB and RB vs Morrisville and possibly Utica...

The views expressed in the above post do not represent the views of St. John Fisher College, their athletic department, their coaching staff or their players. I am an over zealous antagonist that does not have any current connection to the institution I attended.

Congrats to Fisher on today's win. My BENGALS had me believing for a minute there! Hopefully my BILLS will get it done tomorrow !

I am not sure what your expectations are for a "good" Fisher team. They are 5-0. They beat Brockport in a special game, on the road, in front of a huge crowd, and against a former D coordinator that would have a pretty good idea of Fisher personnel.  Yesterday they beat a good Buff State team, as 82 mentioned, without their starting backfield (and lost a starter on the D line when Smith went to RB). The D you love to bag on has consistently  made plays when they need to, including two picks on the last two drives against Cortland, a big pick and a big stop against Buff State after a late turnover looked liked it may have iced it, and a pretty good second half against Broxkport.

Yes, the defense isn't the best they have ever had, but it is doing enough. I don't see how any Fisher fan csn say anything negative about yesterday's effort.
GO FISHER!!!

Give up on middlerelief.  He'll just continue to bash them here, in the E8 updates section, and in the comments section of the top 25 page.

Inevitably Fisher is going to lose multiple games this season.  Not a stretch to imagine since they've never had an undefeated season and the chances of winning the Stagg are probably at or below about 3%.  But when that day comes and he again brings up the defense for the millionth time I'll just refer to all of the other 40-50+ points surrendered games that Fisher lost over the past decade.

sjfcards

I was wondering what people thought of the Freshman QB for Fisher yesterday? His stat line was really good (15 of 22, 3 touchdowns, 0 picks and 1 fumble) and most importantly he won.
GO FISHER!!!
