I hope that they are healing- heck if we can sustain against UC and grab a w without Naton or Fusco and give them an extra 2 weeks to heal that is all fine by me.
Get them better for the stretch run!

The decision to bring them back gets much more complicated with Fuitko and Smith playing so well. I 100% think Fusco and Naton should be reinserted as the starters when they are healthy, but the backups playing well gives you some rope to work with to get them as healthy as they need to be. The caveat to that argument is Naton not having any eligibilty left. That may push him to want to come back. If he can play, he should, but if he isn't any better than Fuitko (because of the hand) then just wait another 2 weeks with the bye and get him back to 100%

Although Mike's anecdote of a 70-yard TD run on his first play is not entirely accurate. It was 52 yards, down to the five. Close enough for government work, as they say

You've probably read it all here before.  Pretty randomly at an AU jayvee football game met this guy from RoadTripSports who produces an annual yearbook about college football. He positioned Pep in front of his camera and began filming as Pep began talking....and Pep nearly talked the poor guy to death! (Will he ever stop?)

Utica's pass Defense is pretty good, however they're allowing 180 on the ground...

I think Smith could have another huge game...

Honestly if you said these three guys would be out 2 games and went 2-0 I would have laughed in your face...

Based on what we've seen from Fiutko and Smith I am pretty optimistic but it wouldn't shock me to see Utica get their 1st win over Fisher. A lot of talent on the bench, might catch up to them eventually....

Looks like the boys from Quick Hits arent too keen on AU or Fisher this week.
Ya know what- thats ok.
I think if I were a betting man (which im not) - given the history of the E8- i would also predict a loss for one of the two if not both of the leaders of the conference.

That said- I wold LOVE to see Fisher and AU go into the last game of the regular season 9-0 and battle it out for the crown!

I was braced for that as well.  And I would expect AU and/or Fisher to remain in that space as long as they remain in the top 25 since there isn't a team that can be taken for granted in the E8.
