Congrads to Brockport in pulling off the game.  If Del Val didn't stall like they did, this game would have ended quite differently.  That said, you don't give Germinerio the last possession.  He is too good for that.

now the bus ride will be fun. both teams had over 400 yards of offense.

I thought DV was quite impressive live. They have athletes in spades. Threw the ball well. Tough kids for sure. They certainly looked about equal physically.

Hard for me to know what to make of that game.  For a while it seemed as though Brockport was the superior team, but then they collapsed.  Surely part, if not all, of that collapse must be attributed to DV's play.  So i'm not so sure Brockport was the clearly better team today.  Although I do suspect complacency must have been at least a little bit of a factor in the 2nd half.

Not really sure what to make of it either. UMHB up two scores now. That'll be one tall task for whoever would have advanced today. UMHBs defense looks suffocating.

The semis Brockport! Way to go.
You ain't seen nothing yet. Those Texans are special.

Congrats to the Golden Eagles.

Go BROCKPORT!!!!

pg04

Wow! What a game! Brockport has to clean up a lot of what happened in the 4th to come within a monkey stomp ( going old school) of the defending Champs.

Congrats to the aggies on a great season.

Congratulations to Brockport. The CRU Nation looks forward to your visit to Crusader Stadium (aka. The CRUthedral) next week.

We'll keep you posted on the weather. It looks to be a bit cooler than the 80 degrees it was today. Right now, the forecast has it in the mid-60s for next Saturday. However, Texas weather can change  quickley so we will see how it unfolds.

Safe travels to the Golden Eagle faithful making the trip.

Booby, Brockport was by far the better team in this game until the got cocky and kicked the sleeping dog.  Too much chirping.  They will have a lot of trouble next week if they play like they did in the second half.  If they play like they did in the first half they have a punchers chance against UMHB.  I think they could get crushed with the trouble the Oline had today against Del Val.  UMHB will be just as good if not better.  Credit to Del Val for waking up in the second half and taking the challenge.

dlippiel

Bport' going to have a tough time next week. That top tier will make itself clear. Dlip hasn't seen what he thinks he needed to from Bport the last two weeks to convince him they have a realistic chance of competing next week. With that said an incredible season so far for the Golden Eagles! Dlip will be rooting for them big time next week!!!

Others have pointed this out and I have to agree 100%, they were driving to basically end the game and go up 35-7 however one player thought it would be a good idea to knock a ball out of another players hands after a fumble scrum. So it becomes 3rd and 18 instead of 3rds and 3. The next play a BP WR made a fantastic play to put them inside the 10 and then thought it would be a good idea to jump in a DVC DBs face.

They should have ended it there with 1st and goal inside the 10.

Congrats on getting to the Final 4 BP but there's no way you can do that next week.

Yessir. If the brisket is right, I'm on the flight.

The brisket is always right in Texas! Some of the best in the Lone Star State is in downtown Belton. Come on down!
