I dont know guys- maybe im old, a purist or frankly just grumpy when it comes to change but Met Life Stadium?

Im not feeling this at all.

There is something to be said about having the games on campus.

Would the Carrier dome been more a valuable option?

Pat Coleman

We've long talked about that but I can see where the NYC area has way more alumni of both schools to draw from.

Proximity wise absolutely but I still would rather go to Cortland or IC to catch the games

Week 11. El finale de regular season.

12PM   Alfred 5-4 @ UR 1-8. A good game for Alfred to  finish reg season on a high note.  Can Alfred's D get their first shutout of the season ? At least UR will not travel far.

12PM Ithaca 7-2 @ Cortland 7-2. This is basically the NY State Bowl a week early. (and they call it something else, I heard this game has some local importance). What makes this game interesting to me is
that they are very evenly matched, but are basically polar opposites. Cortland is 29th in the country in offense and IC is 12th in total defense. They both almost beat
Brockport. An NCAA playoff bid may be floating on a wing and prayer to the victor. Can Ithaca go from that mud bowl and win on C St's turf ? Ithaca's defense will be the best
unit on the field. I believe they can slow down Cortland's pass offense in the bitter cold wind. Picking Ithaca to win on the road.

1PM Buff St 1-8(1-5) @ SJF 2-6 (2-4)   The records say 2 not very good teams, but Fisher seems to be somewhat improving as the season progresses, but the Bengals have lost 5 straight games. And other
                                                    than
Bridgewater, all of their losses have been blowouts. Coach Boyes, decision time, your program is no longer competitive, and you are no spring chicken. What's the plan
Stan ? Fisher is not a lot better, but their defense is good enough to secure the win. BS is poor on both sides of the ball.

1PM  Utica 5-4 (3-3) @ Hartwick 2-7 (0-6)   With the predicted win, Utica is assured a nice bounce back season after they finished 3-7 a season ago. Hartwick, not so much. They get a few good skill guys
every couple of years, but do not have the size in the trenches to compete. And just about always having the worst D in conf (just like this year) secures their
failures. Expect Utica's offense to have good day leading the Moose to victory.

1PM Brockport 9-0 (6-0) @ Morrisville 6-3 (4-2)   The Mustangs have enough athletes to give Brockport a headache if Brockport isn't careful. The problem is MoVilles strength (offensive run game) is also
Brockport's strength (run defense). Brockport, Morrisvile and Cortland are the only 3 teams in the top half of the E8 in total offense and defense. So, they
have some ability and balance, but maybe are not to Cortland's level. Hopefully, last week was a wake up call for Brockport that they need to finish this thing off.
All hands on deck, and full speed to win. Do not think about resting guys.  Unless the victory is in hand. Bad karma to think about resting guys before the
game. Mooville can be scary, but they are not at Brockport's level. Eagles should fly away victorious.

Sidenote. It will not be fun to be spectating at these game as far as weather is concerned. Temps in the 30's and crazy high winds. Cheers ( Hot Toddy anyone ?)

Just put a running clock on the 2nd half of the Fisher game. This is brutal to watch.

Props to my Golden Eagles for finishing up a 2 year regular season with a 20-0 run. Playing with a target on your back for 2 years is not easy, the whole program should be proud. They also had the luxury of resting some players yesterday. Enjoying today waiting for 5:30 to see who is coming to town next sat. Way to go men !!!

I simply don't understand how Hartwick can be this bad defensively. Here were Utica's offensive drives in the first half:

1. Fumble after completing a 29 yard pass to the Wick 5
2. TD
3. TD
4. TD
5. TD
6. TD
7. TD
8. Blocked FG that was kicked on 1st and 10

In short, Hartwick got 1 stop, and even that came after giving up a long pass.

I mean, it was 55-0 at halftime, and it could have been 65-0 without much changing. No disrespect to Utica, but they're not exactly Brockport.

Yeah, that was horrible . And Razzie #2 goes to Buff St for blowing a 28-7 lead in the 3rd  quarter to Fisher. Cardinals end up winning 31-28. Buff St's season couldn't go much worse, they were basically blown out in most of their losses before this game. And their only win came against the aforementioned Hartwick. Props to Fisher for showing some fight to end their season, winning on the road at Mayberry and fighting back at home to secure 2 straight wins. It may just entice Vosburgh to come back if he was contemplating retirement. Ha Ha ?
But as far as Buff St is concerned, just another dung of a game and season. Coach Boyes, what's the plan Stan ? How did your team get so bad ?  It wasn't too long along ago Brockport was down in the dumps with that kind of season and they've obviously bounced back, but with a coaching change.

And yet they come back to tie the all time comeback win in program history.....
Head scratcher.
Vos rallied the troops - good to see.
Will it be fruitful in the off season and carry over.....dont know.....
3 wins is better than 2 but......its still only 3 wins
another season shot
