He hasn't graduated, the advice he's getting is worse than a steroids infused version of LaVar Ball and he wasn't exactly a good teammate after the RPI playoff loss.

You waive in tons of transfers in a short period of time and live and die by the sword.  Talent without having built a culture.  This is what happens when a process is shortcut.

So can someone confirm, an athlete moving up a level (D3 to D1) needs to sit out one season, while staying at D3 level does not hold a "penalty"

Not 100% sure but I think he would need to sit out a year unless he was in grad school at the D1 location

That was my impression as well.  Trying to decipher Pumkin's cryptic message here, if he is eligible to graduate at the end of the spring (high likelihood if he already transferred once), then he could be a grad transfer at any school in the country with a grad program.  The irony here is that (if I recall) BPort benefited from this new rule last year, by accepting several grad transfers to their 2018 team.

His Twitter bio does read "Brockport '20", FWIW.

Ultimately, he's an elite player and I wish him the best, whether it's returning to Port for another run, or wherever he goes. He's helped elevate the East, and for that I'm grateful

Agreed!!! (as long as we don't see him in Bombers Grey/Blue)

Brockport became the "Rowan of the 1990's" last year with all of their higher level transfers. I've never believed in the "win at all costs" mentality, especially at the D3 level for God's sake. It bit Rowan in the backside as it did Brockport this past season. 99.999% of these players won't sniff the pro's. I also heard that there are plenty of people who got fed up with his act, and his behavior after the playoff loss was the clincher. Maybe a few of the big boys told him to stand down..........and he decided to move on, once again. That resume is going to look funny when he eventually does graduate from somewhere, if not Brockport this past December or this coming May. He needs to know that his football career is about over (regardless of who is blowing smoke up his keyster to the contrary) and it's time to focus on the next 40-50 years of his working career. Trust me, I know that sounds boring, but it's our reality. ;)

Saxons now have a ten-game schedule for 2019, having picked up George Fox University out of Newberg, Oregon for its Week 2 opponent. The Bruins will travel 2,707 miles to Mayberry to meet the Saxons on Sept. 14 with a 1 p.m. kickoff.

The Bruins, despite in only its fifth year of D3 football, were a formidable foe in the North West Conference in 2018, finishing tied for third (4-3) with Pacific behind Whitworth and Linfield, with an overall 6-4 record. The Bruins enter the 2019 season riding a three game winning streak. It appears to be a one-year deal, as the Saxons already had a full ten-game slate for 2020.

The Saxons will also host their first night game in many years when Rochester comes to play at Yunevich Stadium for a 6 p.m. kickoff on Saturday, Sept. 28.

+k jm for the great and realistic post.

As far as Joe G what a shame. What did he do or how did he act after the loss? dlip missed all of this. To dlip, on the surface of course because admittedly dlip has no clue about any of the intricacies of the situation, this is not a great move for the kid. To dlip he comes across as being quite immature and turning his back on his coach and team simply because BP won't be as good next year and things didn't turn out as expected last year. It would have been enjoyable to see him battle this year and try his best to elevate the Golden Eagles the best he could. He is a talented kid but certainly he just closed the door on his career because he's not going anywhere after college football wise. Either way dlip wishes him the best and hopefully he can learn from this (if it is as it appears and he truly is acting the way others are saying he is...or he did).

Please don't get dlip wrong, as he's not judging the person here just the decision and how it comes across to him. At Joe's age dlip had the maturity of a ****ing gnat...

Has Brockport found a game for the 28th of September? Asking for Salisbury?

Brockport published a 10-game schedule on its social media earlier this year, but its 10th game was against Alfred State, which published a conflicting schedule.
