Not much energy here...the E8 isn't doing so well out of conference! Hoping the Red Dragons can run the table.

Fisher is a little nicked up and ran into a buzzsaw in Troy.   They best right the ship asap or they are staring at 2-4 in the face!

Another solid Cortland win. 4-0 is a nice start but the OOC record for the E8 makes me think that the league isn't all that this season.

I understand the OOC record. However, Utica's only loss is to 1st place (althought tied) LL team. I watched a good amount of that game and was very close until late. Some great defensive performances by Union, but Utica looked like they belonged on the field. Then Brockport only loss is to 1st place (although tied) Ithaca. That game was a defensive struggle, but if Brockport had not that big interception that was returned by Ithaca (kudos to them), it's a whole new game. Then you guys are undefeated, averaging nearly 51 ppg and only giving up nearly 10 ppg. I think you guys are the real deal. However, this upcoming week is a BIG WEEK for the E8, let's see how things shape out. How would you compare this team thus far to the likes of that 2008 and 2015 teams?

2015: Great offensive unit but not as solid defensively. Now let me add...the Dragons scored quickly and often that season, putting their defense back onto the field. I'm almost certain that if they just slowed the game down a bit, it would have helped them out defensively. Just the downside of an effective no huddle scheme.

2008: I felt this group played really well defensively and offensively was good. Not great but good. I watched several of their games and offensively they were all over the place. Besides IC sticking it to them in the last game, I still felt they were more of a defensive team than a perfect balance.

2021: Through 4 games these guys seems to be hitting on all cylinders but not sure what to make of their opponents. These next few weeks will decide it. I like what I've seen so far. They've done what they were supposed to do, and that's all that can be asked.

Ice Bear is impressed with the Red Dragon's results thus far. He wants to watch a game or two to get an idea of how good the Red Dragon team is. They may be the best team in Region 2 and maybe all of what we once knew as the East Region.

I love the end results thus far, but I'll remain quiet with their potential status until they run the league table and play IC. Their schedule has been a bit favorable so far!

Shoutout to Pep's Saxon Warriors for a big win over Utica. The E8 is all Cortland's this year, but it's great to see Alfred focus on improving over the season....congratulations! Good luck against Brockport this week.
