I think this is going to be a very close game. I could be wrong but I think the Red Dragons are going to have to play their best game to get the W on Saturday. I think with Grove City's impressive W over Susquehanna at Susquehanna, they have proven their worth and I'm calling this a toss up.

Looks like fate will end up giving Cortland the home game they always deserved...

They lost at home to the team (Susquehanna) that the undefeated team (GCC) they are playing beat away.  They may have deserved a home playoff game, but they do not deserve the home game in this case when the above statement is true.

OK, but none of that matters and regional rankings take precedent over whatever narrative you want to paint...

Congrats to Cortland. I actually expect them to beat up on Grove City next week so get after it.

I do not expect that at all.  It could happen, the opposite could happen too with GCC running away with it.  What I think is most likely to happen is a 50/50 hard-fought game that won't be decided till the 4th qtr, possible the final minutes.  Either team can win this game and it should be entertaining for the fans.

And Endicott lost at home to the team Cortland beat on the road, and all that mattered was the respective regional rankings

There is how it actually is.  In this case of how it is, it had Cortland going on the road to Endicott and GCC going on the road to Cortland.  There is no changing that fact for any reason.  But that is not what was stated.  What was said, was what was deserved.  What was deserved was Cortland hosting Endicott and GCC getting a home game this round.  But again, that is not reality, and it is a moot point now.  Saturday should be a hard-fought game by 2 good teams and may the best team win.

Finally some life over here! If Cortland wins by 1point, I'd be as happy as a clam! I wouldn't expect them to race out to a big lead on anyone at this point! Honestly, besides a few programs like UMU or NC, I wouldn't expect anyone to win by way of a blowout! By round 2, the cream has started to rise.

I figured it would be a close game.  Good luck the rest of the way.  With Mount out of the way, it is anyones ball game.

That was either teams game to take! Obviously happy the Dragons were able to squeak by! GC was gritty! Dragons were down a few men...couple O Linemen by the sounds of it. The stud AlfanoStJohn didn't start at RB, but played a lot! The announcers said he was getting over something. Hopefully the banged up Dragons will be able to put it together and hit on all cylinders this weekend! One hand says UMU losing could be a good thing! The other hand says there is a bigger monster lurking out there!

I second that Bartman. I think this may be a tough climb for this excellent Cortland team. IMHO the Cortland offense is going to have to be flowing like Old Faithful to give the Red Dragons an opportunity to win. Regardless, this has been an amazing season for the Red Dragons and Zac Boyes. I'm really hoping it continues past Saturday. Go get'um Cortland!

Dragons are on the road. They chose to bus it rather than fly. They will be stopping by Univ of Michigan for a pregame practice. Hopefully that Marcus Aurelius inspired,   "Voluntary Hardship" , will boost their stoicism and help them across the finish line!

I think it's a cool choice.  All this and more in about 15 great minutes with Coach Fitzpatrick in today's awesome midweek ATN episode!

I'm really looking forward to this game between two very fun teams to watch.

Dragons picked to go down in flames in all the picks today! Interesting occurrence this season...when a Cortland opponent was featured in a write up, the Dragons won. Ie: Brockport, Ithaca, and Endicott. When the Red Dragons were spoken of...v Susquehanna, we lost! I'll take the picks against us as press for Alma and let my superstitious ways let me sleep well tonight!
