Huge kudos to Cortland for a dominant win; way to represent upstate NY football. 

NCC is a beast, but if any team is capable of out scoring them on their best day, it might just be the Red Dragons.  That offense is a MACHINE.  And really fun to watch.

Another Cortland gem! But the thing differentiating this one was the RDragon defense. As stout a defending show as we've seen from the Corts. Coach in postgame comments noted 'D' unhappy with last week's performance. Certainly changed that today. Had not seen that many blitzes this season, especially in a 35-0 first half.  Appeared YJackets had not either in film looks at Cortland. Pressure on the qb certainly helped the secondary. At the half RM had five yards rushing, 38 passing! Meanwhile, Dragon OL outstanding. Boyes & Co. as usual.

     North Central 26, Wartburg 13 at intermission. Wburg td in closing seconds, pat kick fails. But Wburg continues comeback in second half and takes 27-26 lead. Central steps up to grab final 34-27 edge and withstands Wburg dramatic push at the end.

Yes, you needed a subscription to watch with ESPN+, The Championship game is at least on cable, I think ESPNU.

Never would have guessed the Dragons would do what they did! I didn't even think they would win. RMC's offensive numbers going into today were wild! We have shown vulnerability on D, but holy sh*t! They came to play! Happy to get one more week!

So happy for you XRED and all of the Cortland faithful! What an incredible performance on both sides of the ball! I could not take my eyes off of the tv for one second. I loved every single second. That was a VERY good RMC football team that the Red Dragons beat in every facet of the game. +k!

Congratulations Cortland on a very impressive win! It's nice to see a school from my old stomping grounds win their way to the Stagg Bowl. Just one more game...play like you did on Saturday and take nothing for granted. The close game that North Central had could very well be the push they need to play like they have all season. Given how RMC completely dominated Ithaca , I was expecting a 10 point win by RMC with Cortland playing at their best. But the Cortland defense (up front and secondary ) seemed to have taken a "superDragon" drug before going on that field. Halfway into the second quarter, you could see the RMC lines were totally baffled by their failure to execute and seemed to start to submit to their fate that day. All of the offensive skill positions performed at the next level as well. For one game, this is what it looks like when everything goes right.  I hope you can find the SuperDragons for one more game, all of the East is rooting for you.
