another thing... for a quick lesson in HTML, just click the 'quote' button from any post that has whatever it is you're looking for (scrool, pictures, etc.) and it will show the code used in the reply box.

Thanks, everyone....I don't have time to play with it now, but this is a lot of help. I'm going to pick up my PC from ITS right now....had a virus. Then perhaps I can take a shot at adding photos. Just got some great photos of the late great Alex Yunevich to add to the University Archives!

+K to all of you!
On Saxon Warriors! On to Victory!

Saw someone talking about games this year.  Here are a few links for Cortaca Advance tickets:

If I remember correctly the new Chugger Davis has like 1 bench for visiting fans so maybe those of you making that trip should buy early.

Orange/Yellow/Tecmo:  You guys heard anything about the Booster Club tickets yet?  I haven't gotten anything from them yet.

Which game is homecoming weekend?  I will be at that game and also there for Cortaca.

Forget homecoming.  Come to the Fisher game instead.

will you be there?  That sounds like a good idea.  Is Fisher the only thing in the way of another E8 championship?

Homecoming is against Hartwick on the 16th.

I'm pretty sure I'll be at the Fisher game.  Not sure how it's all going to work out yet, but that and Cortaca are the two I'm trying to get back for.

Welcome Back High Life Bomber!

MIYH- Perhaps we can up the price of the FDC shirts and make a donation towards your plane ticket... or maybe hand out a collection plate after bomber shots.

When do we open camp?  More importantly, when is Tecmo's camp post coming?

Gear up.  E8 Poll comes out this afternoon.  Any last minute predictions?

Good sources tell me that, if the voters pay attention to where the games are played, it should go:

Fisher
IC
Alfred
(Then the rest)

Thousands of fans join in the revelry, showing their Bomber pride and support for the football team. Some fans take the rowdiness a little too far, however, by starting fights, damaging property and tipping Port-a-Potties. -Ithacan, November 10th

SCHUR NAMED TO BOMBER FOOTBALL & BASEBALL STAFFS

Rob Schur, an assistant football coach at Amherst College, has been named an assistant football and baseball coach at Ithaca College, following a national search. The announcement was made by Ken Kutler, Ithaca's director of intercollegiate athletics and recreational sports. Schur will serve as the football program's offensive coordinator and coach the Bombers' offensive linemen; he will also serve as junior varsity baseball coach.

"We are very pleased that Rob Schur has decided to join the Bomber family," said Kutler. "His background and experience at Amherst College makes Rob a good fit for Ithaca. I am impressed by his ability to recruit top student athletes and with his credentials in strength and conditioning. Rob's enthusiasm is contagious and his reputation and results as an excellent teacher will be of great value to the players in our program."

Schur, a 1998 Amherst graduate, spent the last eight years at his alma mater and served as the Lord Jeffs' offensive line coach since 1999. He also worked as the program's director of football operations and strength and conditioning coordinator. Schur spent five years as Amherst's recruiting coordinator and was an assistant coach with the men's and women's track & field teams for four seasons.
During his coaching career at Amherst, he coached 13 all-conference offensive linemen while helping the Lord Jeffs to a record of 45-19. Schur recruited three team captains, two academic all-Americans and one player who was chosen New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Offensive Player of the Year. Amherst ranked 24th in rushing offense in 2004, averaging 241.2 yards per game.

Schur started at right tackle for two seasons, helping Amherst to consecutive 7-1 records in 1997 and 1998. He also captained Amherst's indoor and outdoor track & field teams.

Schur replaces Brian Angelichio, who was named assistant football coach at the University of Pittsburgh after 10 years as an assistant with the Ithaca football and baseball staffs.

The Ithaca football and baseball programs are both among Division III's most successful. The football team has made 15 appearances in the NCAA playoffs, including three in the past five seasons. The Bombers went 8-3 last fall and won their fourth consecutive Empire 8 title. The baseball team has made 30 trips to the NCAA Division III playoffs – more than any other school – and 40th NCAA playoff appearance overall. Ithaca finished 33-11.

Of course this is going to be somewhat subjective:

RPI
Union
Ithaca
Cortland
Hobart
Alfred
Fisher

I think Union and RPI are pretty even but I'll give union the preseason edge

Union
RPI
Cortland
Fisher
Hobart
Ithaca
Alfred

Bad schedules for Ithaca and Alfred... but every team here could finish with no more than 2-3 losses.
