Yeah, they can't tell the difference anyways. could have bought a lot of bomber juice, ankle brace, pop up tent, you know whatever, with that $. :)

#46 will be huge this weekend.  Conditions will remind me of old Chicago Bears games. It looks like Biaz and Davis will be good to go.

heyyyy, Bombers!

cheerleaders, practice your toe touches!

I can bring the Bomber juice as long as you can push back my debt to you a few more weeks :)

Two and a half months without a paycheck, what a drag. I knew I should have went for the Cubic Zirconia...

I hope the offensive line is ready to push hard on Saturday.  It could be a deluge.  There's still chance that the storm could do a nifty dogleg left before it gets to us (due to the high pressure block to our north).  But chances are it's going to be a mess.  Can you say #46?

Tecmo- If you bring the Bomber Juice we can call it even.

Hmm, that's a tasty bargain orangehat! Almost of Vernon Wells for Tim Worrell proportions.

Has Fisher ran a no huddle offense in the past? Rumor mill has them going to it almost exclusively this year. Sounds like their scrimmage with Buff State was pretty tight as well.

Wow, a no-huddle attack?  If I were the new OC I think I would try and just stay the course as much as possible.  There is no reason to be instituting new systems with veteran talent.  If you don't believe that See: Leak, Christopher circa 2005.

May as well get the predictions going for this weekend...

Bombers- 24
Hawks- 17

Line for #46= 24 carries for 146 and 2 TD's
Line for #4 = 10/17 168 yards and one rushing TD and 1 INT

The bombers running game will go for over 250 on the day and the new look D will create a few turnovers to help the Bombers hold on to a 1 score victory.

4 Oooooga Boooga's won't be a bad way to start the season.

I just hope our tailgate doesn't get washed away.

Go Bombers

I'll go as follows:

Ithaca: 26
Huntingdon- 20

I see #46 having a monster game, and each team breaking out for a long TD pass as the cornerback slips to the ground.

Did I mention it's going to rain? If this thing doesn't turn west in central PA its going to be a complete mess.  Just hope the weather doesn't dominate the game, ala RPI 2003.

46's a mudder.  His mudda was a mudder.  His mudda was a mudder?  His father was a mudda.  His father was a mudder?  He loves the slop, eats the slop......

Young offense, new QB, mud...

I'll Say:

Bombers 17
Huntingdon 13

I didn't know Coach King's nickname was the weather.

it's a joke guys, you can laugh. Feel free to hit Gro over the head with the walnut and bronze.

FisherAlum05

tecmobowler,

Fisher has indeed run a no huddle offense in the past 5 seasons.  They do huddle occasionally but majority of the time they use the no huddle.  It seems to work since they are one the highest scoring teams in the east region.  Lets get things rolling against kings this weekend.  GO FISHER!

C'mon Gro, we aren't going to hit you with our walnut and bronze.  You haven't earned the right to touch it.  You guys keep working and maybe someday we'll show you our rings...

Rowdy Rowdy Bomber

I'm getting VERY "EXITED!"

Bah! Bah! Baaaaah!, Bah! Baaaah!,  Bah! Baaaaaaah!....

Since we are in the air welch stages of our new offense I wouldnt doubt if we saw juvon attempt to drop back 15 times tomorrow.  Due to the conditions though I predict he will scramble and not throwsince the wide outs will only get 10 yards down the field.

Juvon will rush 6 times for 24 yards and throw 8 for 10 with 70 yds on the day.

our "Mudder" will rush for 80 yards on 18 carries and 2 TD's.

Biaz with have one 26 yard TD run around the corner as the Hawks begin to cram the line thinking 46 all the way.

Oertel has 4 catches for 29 yds and one TD.

The Hawks will not know what hit them with conditions and Butterfield atmosphere.  with all new talent in the rushing game and no powerhouse gent's in the backfield they will struggle.  One throwing TD for the QB on a 2 for 15 day.

Bombers 30 (1 FG, 2 missed PT's)
Hawks 13   (2 FG's)

RAIN RAIN GO AWAY!

Just read Delaney's preview in the Journal (FDC, we know, we know)...In that story and the Ithacan story the coaches mentioned Juvan's running ability.  Might we see a return to the Shotgun option Welch ran with BY?  (I suppose you could say he ran it with Felicetti too Felicetti's freshman year but, then he hurt his knee and we didn't see it again for safety reasons).

Good luck to Coach Welch and the Bombers this Saturday (not SatErday!).

We reconciled with Delaney after we ran into him in the Commons  wearing a "YDS Sucks" shirt and getting yelled at by some hippies.
