Twenty-six hours and change 'til kickoff of the Saxons' 2006 Season!
AUPepBand, "The Sound of the Saxons," is ready to rock.
GO SAXONS!!

Fisheralum91,

U of R has a pretty good looking squad from what ive heard.  They have a very experienced and talented QB in Aaron Molisani and a good RB in Bielicki.  WR's are inexperienced though.  This might hurt them since they run a spread offense.  They do run effectively out of the 'Gun using the "read" play though.  Offensive Line is also above average.  In the past defense has been U of R's problem.  They did hold Johns Hopkins to 10 points in week one.  But Fisher is a whole different animal.  U of R should have problems stopping them.  Can they score enough points against a stingy Fisher defense?  Doubtful.

My other predictions:

Utica 21, Husson 17
Brockport 28, Salisbury 24
Alfred 24, Thiel 10
RPI 42, Endicott 21
Ithaca 35, Buff State 14
Cortland 56, Morrisville 7
Union 35, Springfield 24

FLA10

AUPep...because of my JV status I am not able to write back yet....but those are the two I am speaking of.  In my opinion they were the best combination out there.

FLA10

That Baez - Donovan combo is not to shabby either

You know I got nothin' but love for all you Fisher guys, but where is all this talk about a "stingy" defense coming from? You shutout Kings in a monsoon and all, but isn't Fisher's D always the team's achilles heel?
A 2004 graduate of the "almighty legendary" Ithaca College. Goooooo Bombers.

Obvious Response:  Fisher's D didn't lose the IC game, it wasn't on the field when Struzzi took that pick to the house.  If only Fisher's offense was better at tackling...

jose where's pittman in the bucs RB recap? he wasn't that great but he did help get them a SB win.

I actually like Pitt more than most Buc fans.  The real answer is, I have no idea where he is since I stole that signature from a Buc message board.  If I were good at using computers, I would probably add Pitt, Lars Tate, and Gary Anderson's jerry curl to the thing.

I might even throw in Baez/Donovan/Davis (I feel like, as an IC fan, I cannot post about running backs of any kind without mentioning those three).

Now IC boys- I said nothing of the stingy D for Fisher...

Hell, I havent seen the damn team play in 15 yrs....

Yet i do feel the love coming from the IC camp....

We're just giving you guys some crap.  In the end, it is hard for us to throw stones over the stinginess of defense given the building material that comprised our defensive house last year...(no offense Mr. N.)

Booga Man

Week two of Bomber football is upon us as Buffalo St. comes to town,
Hopefully we will play in dry weather.
Available this year at IC games - souvenir bottles of BOOGA WATER, proceeds go to the IC football team.
Water comes from 3-springs water co. in Pa. courtsey of Jim Tosh (President) father of Matt Tosh former IC football captain.
Just an idea we had to raise some extra money for the football program.
See Chuck at the Red truck in the Booster parking lot.
Practice has been going well-everyone is healthy and looking forward to Buf. St. should be a great game.

FisherAlum05

IC Fans,

If you look at last years statistics and and the Kings game, you will see that the Fisher defense has been very solid.  Last year they ranked near the top of upstate new york in most of the important defensive categories like points allowed and yardage allowed.  See for yourself on the upstate new york football website.  Only horrible densive game we played last year was against Ithaca ( and the second half against Hartwick).  Lets go Fisher keep it rollin...
