I take this as a point in Dixie's favor.  What do you guys have that is even close to comparable?  Friendlys?

What's the deal with that Bar on a 2nd floor in the Commons?  That joint any good?

Not sure if I like the BenchWarmers location, didn't that used to be a McDonald's?  Can't they get some flatscreens?

Yes, the new Bench used to be McDonalds (the doors still have McD's logos on them)....it's bigger but definately not better.  I'll take the old one anytime. 

The new upstairs bar (which was creatively names "the second floor") is ok.  It has good size, 2 pools tables, etc.  I was there when a bunch of my friends were up there this summer.....it was cool, but that was before the kids came back, so I can't say what it is like now.

I absolutely agree about the new Benchwarmers.  It is probably way better for Sunday NFL games (because you can actually see more than one TV at a time) but, for Saturday night the new layout sucks.

The New Benchwarmers sucks!  It's now a family fun time restaurant... instead of a bar that you go to on your 21st and do 12 JagerBombs.  The pool tables almost run into the bar and there's not a lot of standing room.  They skimp on shots and they have a tiny little bar. 

I went to the 2nd floor bar for the first time before the Huntingdon win.  While I was skeptical beforehand, thinking that It would be a place for IC's Elite to literally "look down" on people in the "commons".  Yes, I took intro to Sociology @ Ithaca.  However, Aside from the dress code sign... the 2nd floor was actually pretty decent. 

Some positives:

The have cute girls that will come around and take orders when the bar is packed. 
They have "Deer Hunter"
They have PBR Cans!!!!!

I can't knock a place that gives you PBR in a can.

The big negative was the mens bathroom...

1 stall + 1 urinal + a place that can hold hundreds of guys drinking PBR in cans = Not Good.

Don't go to 2nd floor bar. It's just a big room, and there is a DRESS CODE. No holes in jeans, no backpacks, no BACKWARDS HATS, no FLAT BRIMS ON HATS, this is all true. Place sucks.
