MIOhat- you're too modest, I'd imagine that you'd say all three backs are better than robby

Which 3?

Bias, Baez, and Baiez

or

Baez, Donovan, and Davis

Fisher = Pat Coleman's Favorite team in the East for the last 3 years

Fisher = A team that has 1 win over the Bombers ever... if you can call it that

Fisher = A team that doesnt know who their QB is

Ehhhhhhhhhhhhh Ehhhh  OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOO

Boooooooooooooga Boooooooooooooooga Booooooooooooga Boooooooooooooga

The Brockport fans would argue that it's Ithaca. :)

I really don't like when Ithaca fans bring up the one win ever argument, while obviously true it just makes it seem like the two schools have been battling for the past 50 years when that's not the case.  That's just my personal gripe, but it is a good argument to use and I would definitely use it if things were reversed so I guess I will drop it.

P.S. Sure we can call it a win because that's what it was, and for the 100th time had they called the pass incomplete you were still facing a 3rd down situation, and had you scored Fisher still would have had a turn and you guys couldn't stop them all day.  But I don't like bringing that up because I just want to get along with you Ithaca folk, can't we all just hug????  come on lets have a good old fashioned hug fest!

The game from two years ago is just a sore spot i suppose.  The "Fisher won on a bogus call" argrument is admittedly lame.

After watching the Ithaca team for seven years though, I could pretty confidently say that was the best Bombers team that I have seen.  They utterly destroyed some good teams that year including Cortland, , Springfield, Lycoming and Alfred.  The offense was firing on all cylinders, and the defense was rock solid.

2004 ended up being the wrong year for two losses, and they both came in heartbreakers.

The first was one point loss on a cold rainy day in Brockport, as a field goal sailed short and right as time expired. The second was that Fisher double overtime loss.  When selection time came, the committee chose Christopher Newport, and I believe Muhlenberg over the Bombers. It's just hard to swallow, knowing that team could have done some damage in the playoffs.
Thousands of fans join in the revelry, showing their Bomber pride and support for the football team. Some fans take the rowdiness a little too far, however, by starting fights, damaging property and tipping Port-a-Potties. -Ithacan, November 10th

Ooo, bashing cities is certainly a good way to go...
Yes i do, proudly.

Still wouldnt hire you....

well,
putting the trash talking aside. I think we should say congrats to coach welch.  I believe this was his 100th victory as Bomber head coach.  Only legendary coach Jim Butterfield has more victories on the south hill.

Great homecoming weekend.  I hope that this weekend we see the B-A-E-Z train run wild.  Possibly let him run in the first half as opposed to waiting till the 2nd.

Looks like a possible sloppy mess this weekend with rain predicted for most of NY.  Which meens with these backs we are in for a treat.  Of course 3 weeks ago Huntington was a slosh and, well, air welch shined through.

out of all the scores predicted for this weekend 114 to 2 stands out... too bad there was not a poem to go along with that prediction.

I can smell the Fish fry!

GO BOMBERS!

Bud Select.... oooff.
P.S.unfortunetaly my team tied this weekend. the opponent scored with 17 seconds (NO LIE!), 17 seconds left, to tie it.  good god.  17 40 yd sprints comin today!

Great weekend in Bomber Land.  Good seeing the FDC boys and great meeting Mr. N and Lumpy.  This weekend will be fun.  Too bad it won't be on TV in Dixie.  The season starts on Saterday.  JoseQ's prediction will come later...after the results from the Florida Bar Exam are posted....

Saying that one school owns that cheer is like saying one team owns the "2, 4, 6, 8, who do we appreciate?" chant.

UF owns "2 Bits" just ask Mr. 2Bits.

how bout that springfield team????
any thoughts

Before we get too mired in IC's upcoming monkey-stomping of Fisher, did anyone go to the SC game Saturday?  How good was Montclair?  I am beginning to get concerned about the trip to Massachussetts.

maninyellowhat

"Springfield produced 381 yards of total offense, all on the ground (Sharpe attempted one pass on the day and it was intercepted by junior DB Derek DePascale). Montclair State, meanwhile, produced 311 yards of total offense, 206 through the air. SC had 19 first downs, to MSU's 15. SC out-possessed MSU, 33:01 to 26:59."

Time to put 11 in the box!

"i can't wait to line up on saterday and see if your boys are as tough as you guys build them up to be."

fisheralum91

Monkey stomp Jose....?
Wow, I guess this game brings out the true colors.... ;D

Before we get to that point....what is the deal with the Fisher Qb issue?

I don't see a lot of reason to be impartial.  Although, I better keep myself in check.  If I get bad news from the Bar I may be emailing Pat asking for a job....

fisheralum91

No reason to be impartial jose---
This is a good week to rattle cages.

To the victor goes the spoils.

Go Fisher- and spoil the IC season!

Woops.  Upon further review (suggested by friends in high places), we don't have to play Springfield on that racetrack in Massachussetts.  I am already feeling better...
