You know I'm getting sick of all you fisher bums running your mouth. You win a couple games and you think you great. Lets talk about the struggle you had against U of R or about the beating your going to take against Ithaca.

1. AU and to be honest, thats all that matters.

its easy to score 30 or more points when your playing against talent that is equal to playing against a pop warner team. Or how about a side note, your qb has not been the same since he was clotheslined 3 times in the Alfred game last year. If he's nervous tell him to take off the pads and sit in the stands.

Before you post again, walk across the lockerroom and ask Nick Gatto what happens on "Saterday" to players from Alfred that post here during the week.

Right, and what has AU done over the past 4 years?

I tried to stay quiet as long as possible this week but this just put me over the edge.  The SJF/UR game is probably the biggest rivalry in WNY and one of the biggest in NY (Besides Cortaca of course).  Just like Cortaca, you throw out the records every year, the schools share recruiting areas and get kids who know each other.  UR always plays SJF tougher than they play ANY other team no matter how bad they are, you just cant fully expect to use a rivalry game as ammo vs SJF and be taken seriously.

AU just had their best season ever and still didnt make the NCAA's.  Since 2002 SJF has at least beaten Hobart, IC, Brockport, Cortland, never lost to Springfield, put up 400yds and 30 pts on the number 1 ranked D in the NCAA in Muhlenburgh, and have dominated a very tough Kings team from a very tough conference in the MAC for three years.    Remind me what AU has done since 2002 besides beating SJF once??

On to the E-8 Championship this weekend.  Its obvious that the only way SJF wins this game is if they get some kind of production from their WR's or TE's in the passing game.  If not IC is probably going to win this one by double digits.  SJF cant let IC stack the box time and again and expect to move the ball effectively with out getting a big play out of their WR's.  Maybe putting Robinson/Reile in at WR is a chance to get some plays out of the passing game, but we'll see what happens when one of them is split out.

This defense for SJF is probably the 2nd best D that they've had EVER, hopefully thats enough to keep IC from building a lead and taking the run game away from SJF.  I think Lang and Stepnick have to force a couple TO's in order for SJF to come away with the win.

Prediction:
IC-24
SJF-23

King and Newschool, deserve to be hung and castrated for there coments, at least Ithaca fans wish fisher the best of luck when there not playing each other.  Wish I could make it up for this game.  My heart still bleeds after last years game.  Original, I think for the most part your right, but if I'm correct since Kramer has started playin he hass had good stats.  My guess is Robbie, has a good game starting off by catching a few and making ithaca back off the 8 in the box, but Gene Lang is an incredible lb for being smallish, so  my guess is it's close and will come down to whatever coach makes smatter moves, I think that the talent is equal so it will come to the coaches

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

I don't think those stats are very valuable in evaluating his ability if they only came against Mount Ida.  Has he played against anyone else? I actually heard that on the bus ride home, the 7 year old daughter of Mount Ida's coach passed for 180 yards and two scores.

Yes Kramer led the 2nd half comeback against UofR.  and congrats on passing the bar and best of luck in your career

I gotta say, at least for me, I root for Fisher when we don't play each other because I don't think of you guys as a rival.  I know everyone is going to jump all over me when I bring up Bomber history (cue RPI guys) but Fisher simply has not been good long enough for this to be a rivalry game.  This is just a game that has given one team the inside edge to win the E8 title the last three years.  In all honesty, it has never decided who wins the E8 since both teams stumbled late in the year they lost this game.

Maybe it will become a rivalry.  Who knows.  There is certainly evidence that Fisher has the ability to continue to get good players and field good teams.  But, I am just going to wait and see.  The only two teams in NY that have been consistently good year in and year out are IC and Cortland.  Amazingly, that formed the biggest rivalry.  At this point at least, the Fisher-IC game reminds me of FSU vs. Any ACC team in the 1990s.  They were everyone's "rival" because they dominated the league.  Teams got closer and closer (and the entire league has improved exponentially since FSU joined) but none rose to the level of a rivalry in the eyes of FSU.

Hopefully the quality of the matchup keeps up.  It is a game I circle when my schedule comes in recent years.  Maybe it could even rise to the level of an interconference rivalry ala Florida-Tennessee.  For now though, Fisher just hasn't been good long enough for me to know they aren't Union of the 80s, Buff State of the 90s, or Darnley's Brockport.

Gene Lang is an incredible, HAHA. I guess he would have a lot of tackle if they were 10 yards down the field.  Not bashing Fisher completely you take Robinson off that team and your looking at a barely 3-7 season. The poor kid back must hurt because he has carried that team his whole career.

Well nothing brings a crowd together like a common enemy.  Is this Pat's way of bringing together the Fisher/Ithaca crowd?
Thousands of fans join in the revelry, showing their Bomber pride and support for the football team. Some fans take the rowdiness a little too far, however, by starting fights, damaging property and tipping Port-a-Potties. -Ithacan, November 10th

Wasnt Robinson taken away last year and SJF still finished with a winning record and a 1200yd rusher that had 15plus TDS????
