What can we attribute Sharpe's sharp play to?  How's the O-line for SC?
All hail the Booga

Tatum Bell looks explosive.  I just need the Bronc's to keep it within seven!

Has anyone else noticed an increased usage of the Flea Flicker lately in the NFL? It seems as if this has become the "in" trick play once again.

O-line, i guess, is new....

Sharpe is just comfortable with the option now, it takes time for it to click.  He really started to run it well towards the end of last season and it looks as though he's just kept it going....

It will be interesting to see how SJF reacts this season to it, they've shut it down the past two seasons.

I can't remember the last time I saw the flea flicker in a D3 game....some one correct me, but any reason for D3ers not to use it?

I've seen a ton of end-arounds too.  Miami had a couple today.

Definitely...Some teams use them several times and they never seem to work at all!  While others use them at the right time, like Miami and get some significant yardage.

Good thing I benched Jevon Walker on my fantasy team this week....

Well the likelihood is that you weren't playing a team that had Brett Favre, Brian Westbrook, and Ahman Green like I was... lol... what a week!

Good Lord....but try having Rudi Johnson, TJ Houshmenzadeh and Pittsburgh's defense...on the same team
All hail the Booga

Ugh!  Let's not bring up the Cinci/Pit game.  I am a diehard Steelers fan and I was at Benchwarmers to watch them shoot themselves in teh foot.  Roethlisberger needs his face and appendix back in a hurry.....  If it weren't for him the better team would have come away with the win...despite the muffed punt and the fumble.  You just can't cause a turnover then not create points from it.

I sat Kevin Jones on what is probably his only game with a touchdown this year.  Also forgot TJ Housh and didn't play him.  Among other embarassing things....

Bob, Monday is a film day.  I don't know how things have changed because I had Ang for 4 years but they might be doing walk throughs as well.  They will adjust.  I am sure teams will be looking to blitz the offense and gash our defense.  We just have to adapt.

Not the same....but St. John's picked up a big win Saturday with a 75yrd Halfback option, on the road at Concordia.

Gridiron Report Report-

Coach Welch looked a bit dejected.  Can't imagine it was much fun suiting up to come on for that show. Seemed very frustrated in all of the points the offense left on the field in the first half.

Came out flat in the second half.  Hinted that we miss the veteran presence a bit to calm folks down when things are going downhill.

Donavan was interviewed after the game, called the second half "totally unacceptable".  You can tell he's worried about the playoffs a bit... no secret that we have to run the table.

Young Napoleone interviewed... looked a bit shellshocked. Flat performances by the defense after halftime must come to an end.

Terlecki was the player of the week... was pretty well spoken.

Looking at the highlights, it looked like we missed Stephens a bit more than we may have realized at first.

Thousands of fans join in the revelry, showing their Bomber pride and support for the football team. Some fans take the rowdiness a little too far, however, by starting fights, damaging property and tipping Port-a-Potties. -Ithacan, November 10th

I am ok with all of those feelings on Sunday and even on Monday.  But come this afternoon they need to move on and prepare for Brockport.  If we are playing Fisher in our heads all week we aren't going to be ready for what sounds like a really good Brockport team.

FisherAlum05

Should be another good week of d3 football i think.  just like every week. my predictions:

Fisher 49  Hartwick 14
Ithaca 21 Brockport 20
Springfield 42 Utica 21
Alfred 35 Norwich 14
Hobart 42 WPI 17

RPI 42 Becker 14
St. John Fisher College...King of the East
