I hear that Fisher.  The good thing is I am not a player just a fan putting in his 2 cents.  From what I hear, the team doesnt give 2 hoots about where they are ranked.  They are just trying to take care of business.  Later I will submit my own top 10 with deep analysis of why teams are where they are.

congrats to fisher on big win, you outplayed and out coached us, nice to see someone has a little spice in their offense, we were pretty much vanilla with ours, welchie was upset that seniors didn't step up , i feel he was sending them mixed messages with your captain baez only getting 4 carries! enough of fisher, on to b'port , maybe dubz should have picked up uncle yager, he's our lucky charm!!!!!!

I totally agree with Flash83, Great win Fisher, you obviously came to win that game!

Bring on Brockport !!!

GO BOMBERS------ STEP IT UP !!!!!!!!!!

I think cortland may be the real deal. Look for them to be undefeated going into the Rowan game.

No more guessing, springfield is back. They will contend for the E8 title

wanted to put Hobart above ithaca, but not yet.

really don't know much about wesley, besides the name remindes me of some effeminate boy and his ongoing legal battle to play on the girls field hockey team in his vermont high school.

Wow.
Cortland num 2?
Maybe so...lost of season to play and cant wait to see how it plays out.....

I would have had Hobart a little higher too..

just throwing this out there... but, as i sit here loopy and flying higher than a kite from these meds, does anyone else feel or think that maybe B-A-E-Z should get the starting nod this weekend?  maybe just mix things up?  we need a spark after last week and this is the man that can do it.

'Gro, I am surprised you have the LL 3 so low.  I would have expected you to think all three were much better.  What gives?

Q,

Hobart plays poorly in non-conference games, union loses to springfield, RPI loses to hobart. I think some teams are pretty even... this is more what I think...

1. Rowan
2. Cortland
3. Wesley, Fisher, Ithaca, Hobart (tie)
4. Springfield, Brockport, RPI, Union (tie)

Lineback,  I played hockey with Hunter in TN.  He is an insane athlete.  Great guy too.  I am glad he was rewarded with a nice contract

Dubz,  I htink the lack of a pure fullback is the problem, not the backs.  If Bam were in, I am sure the running game would be better.  Donovan is a year and a half removed from being one of the few 1000 yard backs in a season at IC, modern era of course.  He is a great player as is baez.  But not having a fullback is hurting us

Here is my opinion on the East Region rankings.

7. Ithaca
8. Union
9. Brockport State
10. Union

Damn, Union must be good to get into the top 10 twice!

Rowan is still the team to beat in the East Region.  The loss to 1-AA Robert Morris does not change this in my opinion.  Wesley was a national semi-finalist a year ago.  They deserve the #2 spot.  Fisher is 4-0 and has beaten one great team in Ithaca, and also beaten two other very respectable teams in U of R and Kings College.  They are in my #3 spot.  Cortland is  my #4 because they have alot of experience and they beat Brockport State.  Springfield at #5.  They are back and it shows with wins over quality opponents like Union, Montclair State, and Alfred.  Hobart is #6 because they are unbeaten (although they have played mediocre teams close) and defeated RPI last weekend.  Ithaca falls in at #7 because of the decisive loss to Fisher.  A loss to Brockport this week could devastate the bombers.  Union is #8 with their lone loss to Springfield in a close battle.  Brockport State seems to have a very good team once again this fall and has one loss to power Cortland State in a close game.  RPI is # 10.  Alfred was in my thoughts as well.  But I just don't think they have the same team as last year.  I think they go 6-4 this season.  Sorry AU fans!!

His Top 10

1. St. John Fisher
2. Wesley
3. Rowan
4. Hobart
5. Springfield
6. Ithaca
7. Cortland State
8. Union
9. Brockport State
10. RPI

My Top 10 and thoughts.....

1. Rowan
2. Wesley
3. Cortland
4. Fisher
5. Hobart
6. Ithaca
7. Springfield
8. Union
9. Brockport State
10. RPI

Bottom 5 I won't comment much.  As for the top 5......Rowan #3??? They are number 3 in the nation and the other 2 teams are definatly not in this region...Rowan is #1 until proven otherwise.........Wesely is #10 in nation...never saw em play so i will give them the number 2 spot......#3/4 Cortland over Fisher...heres why.......Rowan is the cream of the crop in the region....heres the results against Cortland ........
2005: 24-16
2004: 34-33
2003: 34-31(OT)

I know a loss is a loss but.......

Also IC has been the cream of the crop in NY for a long time.....Fisher beats em twice in the last 3 years and all of a sudden they are amazing......Guess who else has beat IC 2 of the last 3 years.......As far as Cortland abover Hobart.......I know Hobart won last year but look at the stats of that game...also from what I hear Cortland ran all over Hobart in the scrimmage....I know a win is a win and a scrimmage is a scrimmage but......Like I said I am just a fan and I hope the team does not care about rankings.....but that's my opinion....I am not sure if we are as good as joseq thinks but we have the potential to be........time will tell

fisheralum91

cstate19-
that isnt a bad top ten,
just lose the "look at previous years" stuff and focus on THIS year.
You have a good team..
it will all work itself out in the wash.....
