It's a touchdown...no it's an interception...I really shouldn't say I hate my own announcers but....

WORST. ANNOUNCERS. EVER!

And I thought people complained about my crew...but the placement of breaks, the confusion causes some problems.  They are new but it almost seems like they get more excited when the other team scores.    Plus every kick/punt is spiraling and it always takes a good bounce.

Hey portgrad, do you think this schedule is ever going to benefit the Port?  Every year they are taking on 5-6 top 50 teams.  I know part of it is conference but with the emergence of Fisher, and the staying power of Cortland and Ithaca, every year has been an absolute bitch.  This is the 5th year I've followed Port and it has been a slugfest nearly every week.

That's a good question.  It did benefit them when they actually were making the playoff runs, and it helped them get in the playoffs.  However, now I think it's just way too much in my opinion.  No other Team in the East has teams the caliber of Springfield, IThaca, Cortland, Fisher, Salisbury, and Wesley combined on their schedule.  They did get one game easier this year by not playing Rowan, and instead by Playing Morrisville

I know these guys are young and all, but they sound like they are 16.  They miss down and distance.  The "color" guy constantly mumbles his words, I don't know if it's a lateral, fumble, or just plain awful.  Another thing, I think their parents must be Bills fans.  Soooo much negativity.  Ten minutes into the game they are spewing how Ports offense can't get anything going, they are killing themselves, too many penalties, never capitalizing.  It doesn't stop with these guys.  I appreciate objectivity but these guys are just plain negative.

I think they might actually have a shot at the playoffs if they schedule like a lot of teams and just have to deal with conference games and maybe one difficult out of conference game.   This is my bro's last year with a total of one playoff run.  Ugh!

That may be the hardest thing to get over...I was criticized for being negative as well.  I think it comes from strong desire for Brockport to win, but at a certain point you do have to have a basis for negativity, rather than just saying the Brockport Defense can't stop the offense...There has to be exact points to make.  Also, it's not like the game is out of reach by any stretch, you have to provide ways brockport can get back into it.  Lastly, I think there has to be some semblence of excitement shown...they don't even seem into it.

But again student announcers are what they are, students.

As for the playoffs, I was lucky to be there for every playoff year they had...lucky me!
