well the "big uglies" are listed as...

T. Maid 6'1" 270lbs
J. Lesnau 6'1" 310lbs
R. Burke 6'3" 250lbs
E. Wopper 6'4" 305lbs
C. Battisti   . 6-2 270
C. Whittaker  . 6-1 280
C. Groth . 6-6 310
N. Quercia  5-10 235
B. Bradtke  6-2 280
C. Languish . 6-0 310
T. Loomis  6-3 310
M. Rozella 6-3 250
B. Grogan 6-2 300
J. Sedelmeyer  6-1 270
A. Specksgoor  6-3 310

Now, if Brockport lets their team write in there own heights and weights subtract an inch and about 10lbs per guy...

theicdubbz

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

So how does the East Region shake out now after last week's games?  Looked like Hobart and Union struggled again.  Fisher predictably rolled and IC unpredictably rolled.  Where are we now?

Still:  1. Rowan
         2. Cortland
         3. Fisher
         4. Everyone else?

fisheralum91

dont have a prob with that list-even with cstate ahead of fisher....
it will all work its way out in the end...

I'm open for some friendly discussion about the LL vs. E8. Concerning this year only.

1.) so far this year... The top of the E8 (SJF, IC, SC) is stronger than top of the LL (HC, UC, RPI). I left Alfred off. I don't think they are better than the LL top 3.

2.) Top to bottom, I'd put the LL over the E8 since Merchant Marine, Rochester, and St. Lawrence have all played well. Better than Norwich, Utica, and Hartwick.  Fisher handled UR, UR played union well. SLU almost stole one from Alfred. Rochester barely beats SLU... its enough to make your head spin.

3.) since only the best teams are going to make it to the NCAAs or ECACs (and hopefully they will match up again like in 05)... that kinda makes point #2 obsolete.

4.) I don't see a team in either conference making it through the year undefeated. Everyone is going to slip up somewhere.

I agree that the LL bottom half makes it a stronger conference overall than the E8.  But I also agree that the difference doesn't really matter.

As to point 4, I am not sure what the LL schedule looks like but I have to think Fisher has a shot at running the table.  SC has to be their last real hurdle.  If the head coach allows them to go to Alfred flat and they slip up again, he has to lose his job.

boy, lots of people callin' in sick today for the morning shift!

Alum91 - you carried your weight today
B27- yah gave it your all son!

Good work out there today boys!

Go Bombers!

maxpower

Jose- you really think Vosburgh would lose his job? The IC game put his ass on a pension plan.

It burns me that IC went down a spot... would anyone disagree with me saying that the 2nd half at Fisher was the worst football IC will play all year? I don't see the Bombers dropping one at Merril; the only problem games from here out are Cortland and Springfield, and we'll see what Springfield can do at Butterfield. I think the boys deserve the benefit of the doubt over the Pride, who will face a tough stretch in Brockport-IC-Fisher.

I'll go along with the LL being stronger than the E8, but also agree that it doesn't matter. I like the E8's teams vs. the LL in the playoffs, and as far as our purposes here go, well, we just don't have many Hartwick, Utica, or Norwich posters. (Or Springfield, for that matter. That would be nice... someone send a telegram out to Mass.)
