And did I ever tell you guys one of my Bob Boozer stories?  Honest injin', me and boozer we're going pitcher to pitcher one afternoon and we stumble out of the bar, couldn't have been later than 1 in the pm.  Booze shuffles over to the curb and picks up this discarded tire, damn it if he didn't sling that thing down the road right into traffic.  Well it caused a six car pile up, and all boozer has to say for himself is "that's what I call a seatbelt check!" and walks away with no remorse.  But that was Boozer, the ole' SOB, that's just the way he lived, god bless him and all he stood for, BOMBSAWAY!

I think the LL might have a postseason edge head up vs the E8

The LL has only been around for a few years so I think there is no question they have the post season edge given the Ws in last year's postseason alone.  

RPI got put out of the playoffs, at home, twice by IC in recent memory.  Didn't you guys admit that the snow bowl vindicated that for you?

This board has been pretty good football talk this year.  I honestly know a lot more about the upstate teams than I have in years past because we have all stayed away from the cheap shots.  It gets kind of boring to just trade insults.  But, if we are going to be throwing barbs, they could at least be funny.  Bombsaway just fails on all counts.  I am willing to call him out for that.  I have no love for morons, regardless of what color they wear on Saterday (See Gatto, Nick).

Ithaca is a great program, with a wonderful football history, but if you want to know what it takes to win the East, watch Rowan or Cortland's defenses fly around to the football and make plays.

I absolutely agree with this analysis Tlm.  Best Bomber teams in recent memory had incredibly fast defenses and offense.  Probably the best was the 2004 team that got beat by that ref at Fisher.  They really got robbed not getting an at large.  Since then we have had some fast defensive players but never really the overall team speed.  I see that changing though.  The coaches brought in a bunch of talented freshmen and, the move to the 3-4 seems to be a reflection of the type of defensive player they intend to recruit.

Jose - I couldn't agree more...I actually started paying more attention this year to the boards because of that....and started posting again after a few years off.  I don't think anyone cares about good natured barbs...or ones that are funny....but the Shots by bombsaway aren't either.  Come on, we all love d3football here.  Why's it gotta be mean?  We can do it either way, but it has been more fun this year and I think we actually created better football discussion because of it.  See IC/SJF week last year compared to this year.
