That was fun when all the LL guys came on earlier, more interesting than the pure intra-conference stuff. What does anyone (including Pat) think of the idea for an E8/LL/NJAC board or something like that? That would be a hell of a time.

and red hats so new names such as manincortlandhat can begin to pop up

We have been so well behaved in here this year we have have PAT coming in to explain who the First Down Club is...now that is something.

Seems no one really like the bombers but us so stick together.

I observed two shortcomings to IC on that day, and I suspect that they were also evident vs SJF a week ago.  IC ran out of gas and they lack overall team speed, particularly on defense.  If IC is going to get back to the promised land, they need to be able to play 4 quarters against good football teams and they need to get much faster.

I agree that IC needs to play a full four quarters better than they have in the last year or so. Not sure I'd blame it on "running out of gas," though. Keep in mind, the Bombers had two furious 4th quarter comebacks against Fisher and Cortland, respectively. Basically, I just think the personnel is lacking a little bit on the defensive side of the ball. I'm not going to get into all of the defensive deficiencies that I thought last year's team had (if you want to read about that, check out  my novel a couple days after the Cortaca game), but it came down to a lack of playmakers (sorry, Mr.N, no offense) in the secondary and an inability to rush the passer. That is a bad combination. For further evidence of that, look at my NY Giants this year...they can't rush the passer, nor can they cover anyone.

max - take a que from them and just bounce over to the other boards once in a while...good banter on all.  If you wanna great crazy, head over to the MIAC in the west.  Good people over there.....the LL guys should agree on that too.

I think Pat is done adding boards for a while. Lemme just look and see if that is covered in the FAQ before I commit to anything though.

I always feel like I know nothing on those boards.... of course, that never stopped me here!

My running mate will of course be Trent Steele, Max Power's closest and dearest friend.

First Lady: Busty St. Clair

Legal Advisors: Lionel Hutz and JoseQviper

Hmmm before I endorse your campaign, I think I should check and make sure you understand what a Senator is.  First lady?  Running mate?

I am a much better lawyer than Lionel Hutz in that 1) I am real, 2) my skin isn't yellow and 3) I actually went to law school (albeit Florida State with President Maggie Simpson).

Works on contingency? No, money down!

haha -- good stuff.  Although, I probably should be embarassed that that didn't even occur to me when I first read it.

No contingency for JoseQ.  In fact, I am billing Chuck Mitrano for all the time I spend educating people about the E8 on these boards.

You should be embarassed? I wrote it! Just another scandal to sweep under the rug for Max Power...

If I have paid attention in my Legal Ethics class, which I do about 45% of the time, I don't think a lawyer could work on a contingency basis for a political campaign (i.e. he only gets paid if the candidate wins). That would tend to promote unscrupulous behavior. Just keeping it real.
