Rowdy Rowdy Bomber

Kitenplon can eat it, there's a rule, if you can't kick an extra point, you can't get mad when people talk smack to your GF.  Conversely, if you can put down a 50 yarder, you wage jihad on anyone you want, Ithaca has to get a kicker if they ever want to go deep in the playoffs again, every good team has a guy that can hit a 40 yarder at least...

Well... nice to see BK has other friends too.  Though,  i will tweak what bombsaway said, i feel that BK is capable of hitting 40, 45, and probably a 50... yarder.  however, hitting them is one thing... hitting them in clutch times, and consistantly is another-

-Go Mets.  For once in my life, please just win a world series that i'll be old enough to remember.
-As far as the WEGOTAFIRSTDOWN.com goes, yep, its available... if you have the cash to by it. almost did last year, but didnt have the time or energy to post it up.  if you want to see FDC and cortaca picts just ask for  the web address-

God, is zambrano a stud though

And don't forget Rich Hill. He was a stud in my fantasy baseball playoffs. Wouldn't have won either title without him.
A 2004 graduate of the "almighty legendary" Ithaca College. Goooooo Bombers.

Fantasy baseball huh.  I had a serious battle the last two weeks.....for ninth place.  Hard fought battle though

It seems like yesterday I was sitting in my T-12 triple watching Jay Payton catch the final out to beat the cardinals in the 2000 NLCS...  some how we went to the series with guys like Agbayani, Payton, Timo, Ordonez, and Bobby Jones.  Why do I have this awful feeling that while that team over achieved, the 2006 mets will under achieve, I hope I'm wrong, who the hell is going to start game 1 now? John Maine??  I like Willie, but I miss Bobby V's disguises

Tecmo, you might be wrong again this week, Bears have let down written all over them, Buffalo will play them tough, especially if Takeo is back... JP's family and I will be cheering them on and I'll be drinking

Side note , I think the bombers are missing a big play linebacker and some other defenders the last few years, my early days as a bomber featured guys like McDonaugh (spelling) Ron Amato, and some great trench guys, just seems they have lost some attitude on the d-side of the ball, I think they play good D, but they use to really rough some people up, not to mention Brian Bicher's leg was a difference maker

Targeted and ready for deletion.

I agree that the defense hasn't been as star studded as it was in the past but, I disagree that the LBers have been thin.  In fact, I would argue that the LBers are the only defensive unit that have kept the standard from those defenses you mentioned.  Last year's LB corps was outstanding and, I think Jose Colon was probably the best hitter in recent IC history.  Maybe B27 can share some stories from practice.  I remember his freshman year he had 5 tackles, three of which resulted in amputation.

Seriously though, I was just having a similar conversation this week with someone at IC.  I have only seen him once but, apparently a lot of people in and around the program have started comparing Blumenauer to Robert Truman.  He doesn't have the speed Colon and Hooter had but, he is making so many plays that the comparison appears warranted.  Anyone that has seen him more than me (he got hurt in the game I was at) care to elaborate?

flash83

cstate19 , did 99 tell you he and flash are going to cyprus , greece for 6 weeks in spring? sounds good but will 99 get his yankee scores over there?

flash83

i got rare vosse and witte, i tried some of the hudson valley brews, the mothers milk was the best, we'll trade at cortaca before kickoff!

maninorangehat

Tecmo,

The WOTS on Fergy Ferg is that he had mono and that's why he was not on kickoffs.  He is not some super kicker turned safety... at least not to my knowledge.

Go Bombers!

Positive Cheers Only
We wouldn't want to upset any IC faculty.  They will probably stage a "die-in" at our next home game to demonstrate all the feelings that we are hurting if we continue to "fumble" with our cheers

JoseQ, I don't have many regular practice stories but camp stories are another thing.  Jose and I battled for three years.  My senior year, after the first day of hitting, I had a bad looking forehead and a busted nose and he had two black eyes and a busted nose.  He is by far the hardest hitter I went against.  Little guy could plug.  McDonough was great player but not a blow up the guy hitter.  The other guy who could stick was Nick Thayer

IC guys that went to the Port game....

How was the field?

Was it a pile of Mud already?

How was the "massive" oline for Port, were they somewhat athletic or did they just lean on people?

maxpower

Jeez, you guys talk about baseball the one day I'm not refreshing the page every five minutes because I was watching the damn games.

Very happy about the A's.... very pissed about the Padres. I REFUSE to believe the Cardinals are a good team. What happened to my boy Peavy?!

Was this Jose H. Colon, Jose D. Colon, Jose X. Colon, Jose P. Colon, Jose E. Colon, or the infamous Jose Q. Colonviper?

The field didn't look like the slop that Juvan loves (loves the slop!), but I wasn't paying that close attention. It didn't rain for most of the game, just a lot of wind. There didn't seem to be a lot of slip-ups... oh except when Heenehan "fell" twenty yards behind the play.

The O-Line was massive, but they couldn't stop Byers & co. to save their lives.
