Fisher is decent in baseball and lacrosse is actually not bad, we made e8's this year  Men's soccer sucks this year for fisher but most of the teams have the ability to make e8

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

either way....Fisher is still 4th or 5th if we're looking at all sports.

and yes, you have to pay for most sports now.

I have faith in John Maine, this mets squad is going to have to be the opposite of the 2000 team that went to the series.  While that team had a no name line up complete with Todd Zeile at first base and a pitching staff with Leiter and Hampton, this years team has a killer line up with a pitching staff that had announcers searching their 3-deeps....

All these Dodger fans in LA think they have the thing won, I was on sports talk radio twice last week battling out with these SOB's...

Mets 6 Dodgers 4 - Wagner makes it interesting in the ninth but gets out of it

As for Mr. Boozer. we mock the ones we love.  Bob Boozer was a great man and instead of hating on me, you should be happy I brought him to light here on the post board.  If I don't share my Boozer stories, you don't post his bio and we all miss out on a valuable lesson about a stellar individual.  With that said, that bio does not dsiprove any of my "tales of boozer"

I only ask because you said Fisher was "dominant" at the money sports.

I will certainly agree you are the dominant men's basketball power in the conference and, by far the best women's team as well.

We have admitted that you kicked the crap out of IC in Football this year.  Are you ready to take that 1 win all time and turn it into "dominant"??

IC has won every single E8 Baseball Title, handily I might add.  Without looking I know IC has never lost a season series to Fisher in baseball.  I'd be willing to bet that IC has never lost a weekend series to Fisher and, I'd be surprised if Fisher has more than 1 baseball win against Valesente's boys since the E8 started.

In Lax, there is no question the conference comes down to IC or Naz.  The winner of that game wins the E8.  It has been IC quite a bit in recent memory too.

Care to reconsider "dominance" in money sports?

Yellowhat, I have decided to skip the jug this year because I don't want to travel to cortland and neither do most my alumn friends.  Plus the weekend before I'll be in Buffalo for the bills/green bay game.  And honestly, last cortaca was a rough weekend, I mean my first night on thursday I ended up in the hotel room hot tub with my dear friend Onorato and a girl I won't mention, nothing I'm proud of, but I think I'll have to hold off until 2007...

I might do homecoming next year though instead of the Jug... maybe it's time to bring some "live 5's " to the post board?

Watch out, if the NCAA thinks we are making too much money on our "Money sports" infactions will be rained down on us with the fury of an ex girlfriend scorned.

E8 Sports.....Actually Ithaca's Womens Hoops team has 3 of 5 E8 championships so they would win that one too..... also gotta throw RIT into the Mens Lax mix the past couple seasons too.

Hey Jose-

My Cubs sources (and a guy who is close with the Marlins organization) keep hearing Pinella's name in the discussions of who will captain my lovable losers.  My initial feeling upon hearing that was panic.  Any insight on Sweet Lou you'd care to share?

Lou wants to be back in NY.  He wanted the Mets job when he got out of Seattle but, the Mariners screwed him.  I haven't seen him in a month or so but, last I saw him he was itching to get back into baseball.  I wouldn't be surprised if he jumped at the Chicago job.  Before he does though, I know he will make sure he thinks they can win.

RIT Lax certainly has been good.  Sorry to have overlooked them.

tecmo, I think Steve Bartman is getting an interview, he wants to come out of hiding a make peace with the windy city.... assuming he can listen to his headphones while he manages..

Do you think Pinella would be a good match for the Cubs?

Eat poop Bombs  :o

Poor Bartman.  Though I don't blame the series on him, if he makes a different decision, they probably get to the WS in 2003. If we could have won Game 7, all would have been well. They probably would have even let him sing "Take Me Out To The Ballgame" at some point.  But alas, history was not so kind...

Well the Cubs have a long tradition of winning... When do you think they will have the press conference to introduce Lou as the new skipper?

JQV

Yes and no.

Yes:  Lou loves to run and the Cubs are fast.  Lou also wants at least 1 or 2 big bats, and the Cubs have those.  His managerial style fits their game

No:  Lou hates, and I mean give JoseQViper a 20 minute lecture in his office before the writers come in hates, having to teach the mental part of the game to more than 1 or 2 players.  I didn't follow the Cubs that closely but, it seems like they don't have a lot of baseball savvy guys.

To be honest though, I think he is more likely to end up in Philadelphia.
