It's time to reveal the ugly truth... I was a music major at IC..... I know these kids you're talking about, they wouldn't know a first down from an interception if it bit 'em in the ass. They probably think the FDC's main goal is narration for the fans.

AU doesn't have a music major. Most AUPepBand peppers are engineering or business majors who were part of their high school marching bands and, having performed at football games, gained general knowledge of and appreciation for the game.

Sousaphone and euphonium players are on stage this week in an Irish comedy at AU, can't make the trip to Hartwick. A couple trumpets and a bass drum will suffice for Saterday.

There hasn't been relevant college football in the midwest since they invented the forward pass.  I would watch a MAC game before I would watch ND, Mich, MState, Ron Zook, or Woody Hayes.  But, because they are all such cream puffs, one team always runs straight to the BCS Title game.  Must be nice to be outside a conference where every team that isn't Vandy is incredible.
