right, myers....

anyone else agree with me that myers was ten times better than any current sjf rb now?  (I have not seen either this year) but I have not been impressed with either in the last 3 years anyway.

Here is Myers headshot from the Fisher record book in the media guide:

That's pretty close. I actually know a girl who hooked up with him and made him keep his hat on throughout. I'm not even kidding.

Also, the kid is an atrocious bartender. I will sidestep the obvious joke about a Fisher grad tending bar and focus on the fact that the kid was incapable of taking more than one order at a time. For instance, if you were ordering a round, you couldn't say "could I have three SoCo and Cokes and a gin and tonic." You had to give them to him separately. He was bad, but god do I miss Paradise. What an awful bar that was, but for .50 cents a drink, couldn't go wrong.

Jose, as far as the Gators/LSU game, I'm truly speechless. I had an intramural game, so I missed the first half. I walked in the door for the opening kickoff of the 2nd half and, from there, it was all downhill for Bayou Bengals. As my one friend from LSU said Saturday night, "In five years we're going to find out this game was the center of a huge point-shaving controversy."

In all seriousness, Florida looked like the better team in the 2nd half. Like I said, I missed the 1st half but even Gator fans said that LSU blew a bunch of points and had some rather dubious penalties called against them. Florida did the right thing by punishing their WR's. With the exception of Bowe, they all look scared to get hit. I think Russell played alright, but his WR's didn't help him much.

I think if they lose one more game, though, the blame will be placed on Russell and we may see the start of the Ryan Perrilloux era in Baton Rouge. He and Tebow are going to have some great games in the next few years.

The only points they lost out on in the first half was a fumble on 3rd and goal from the 1.  He might not have gotten in anyway but it would have at least been 3.

First two road games of the year for LSU: at Auburn, at Florida. Ouch.

Mr. N.

You were there Saturday, why do you think Baez only got 6 carries?

Jose,

Jamie was running well enough..the passing game was rolling...when Alex did get in he hit a couple of nice runs..but after one of his routine "shuck n jive" sprints..he came off the field....looked like a stinger....

Made no sense to take any chances...it was pretty well in hand at that point anyway...
