can we host it at Salem?

fisheralum91

i was thinking more centrally located----Utica? :P

utica????  give the west coasters a chance to make t too.  I am hoping to be back around east by next season.

bomber27

Oh, and the west coast has "punched in"

As cool as a national kickoff would be.  How great would a E8-LL classic be the first weekend of the season.

One Saturday, two games.

Or could try and get the ECAC to sponsor something the opening weekend that has a few kickoff games one saturday all at one stadium.

RE: the question about who made the poll that was a few pages pack. It was me. I was going to make a fourth option pertaining to the Fisher webmaster but I think that would have skewed the results as everyone would have voted for that option. Right now, it looks like a lot of people think Fisher are going to stumble before the end of the regular season.

Considering we have five consistent Fisher posters (Booby, Superman, FA91, OriginalUpstate, FA05), I wonder who selected undefeated. It's ok guys, this is America, you don't have to disclose your vote. BTW, did anyone see Frank Rossi's comment last night in the LL room (p.1059, I believe) about how Springfield is going to run the table? I think it's somewhat ridiculous considering they haven't played a really tough game off their home turf yet and still have road games against Fisher and Ithaca.
A 2004 graduate of the "almighty legendary" Ithaca College. Goooooo Bombers.

whether these things can happen or not (scheduling is always difficult) I think one of the greatest things about these boards is that at least we get talking about it.  An E8-LL doubleheader to start the season.....as a tradition....would be amazing.  Could start some great rivalrys, but unfotunatly so much to lose with a big in-region game right out of the gate.

This is a great point....but I don't see Fisher making this mistake again.  Granted that Norwich team was an entirely different animal with Garcon, I imagine that game has been the topic of many discussions this week.  In addition to being on the road, VT has already seen some heavy frosts and very cold temps.  Could make things interesting is Mother Nature wanted to get involved......

But it's ok, because according to Joe Theissman - a wet field/ball doesn't have any affect on a QB unless it's REALLY wet.  (sorry, love getting the Theissman digs in)

Eat the table?  No problem.  Heyyyyyyy Pride.

any chance he is going to play against ithaca?  pride fans, is he a scrub or a starter?

The FDC needs to know.

fisheralum91

ill admit i said undefeated.....

regular season yes...

i really think the only roadblock is SC, and it being a home game- i say that fisher gets it done!

Looks like Mike Mahoney has just 1 tackle, albeit a solo tackle, in five games.  Having just one tackle could still mean he has played every down on that porous SC defense.

Also just found out Mahoney's dad works at a Police Academy in Massachussetts:

We'll probably see him posting on here soon...

I actually am going to get to raz this kid.  I am seriously excited about that as well as taking my first bomber shot.  Looking forward to seeing all of you in two weeks
