I'm new to the boards (but have been reading them for a while).  I thought I'd introduce myself.  I'm an AU grad who was one of the original kazoo players with AUPepBand when we restarted that program 10 years ago.  I moved back to Alfred last year and now work for the other school - SUNY Alfred.

Welcome aboard, AUKaz00! You game for a trip to Utica Saturday? Got a tuba, a trumpet, a drummer on board thus far. Will be the band'sfirst appearance at Utica...always play the Pioneers on Mid-Semester Break.

Perhaps Post Patterns will help fill the void in your life left by the Yanks' early departure from the playoffs.
On Saxon Warriors! On to Victory!
...Fight, fight for Alfred, A-L-F, R-E-D!

realistic

Speaking of E8-LL (earlier)  The IC Men's Soccer team beat #7 nationally ranked Hobart 2-0 yesterday......also IC women beat Cortland, which is always nice.

Just bringing you all up to date on the other fall teams on this bye week.

any ideas for a t-shirt?

Mr. N... possibly a D3football.com t-shirt?  i think the "10" of us would by one.

Sure...but maybe it's a slight modification to the FDC shirts....the "10" of you already own this board...maybe the d3 logo and "Post Patterns'... on the back????

"THIS IS OUR HOUSE...."

What do you mean NOBODY is coming to OUR HOUSE????
"We bust ours so we can beat yours..."

Yeah I remember two years ago when Fisher was most likely going to finish the season undefeated much like this year, we were having a good time rolling along and were laughing all the way up to Vermont much like this year....Yeah things didn't turn out so well then.  Of course they did have Garcon who isn't really human and I still say he didn't score that touchdown at the end, but I guess it was godsmack for the way the Fisher-Ithaca game turned out weeks before.  Point is I hope the team learned from previous mistakes and doesn't overlook any of its remaining opponents.

Prediction:

SJF       55
Cadets 10

Starters sit at the half.....

Ill tell ya what though SJF fans.  If you want a nice romantic trip with the signifacant other, Norwich is a good trip. Foliage, farmstands, apple cider, all that romantic crap. Great steak place in Montpeiler called J. Morgans or something like that too.  Its in the capital inn I believe.  Wierdest state capital youll ever go to.  The statehouse is like any other state house.  Big building, gold dome, pillars etc.  But right behind it is this small hill with all trees and no buildings, houses anything.  Good trip.

This week too is like Vermonts peek week I guess.

Kind of like an upstate ny town except Montpelier has about 10 bars while any upstate town like Ithaca or Oswego will have 150 bars....

fisheralum91

or oneonta, olean etc!!!
