ugh.... Alfred benefits from the Utica three-and-out.... touchdown Saxons on a 3 yard touchdown pass... 9-0 pending the xp...

pg04

As a matter of programming, they should not try to fit a whole sports report in the middle of a 1 minute quarter break.... especially when their score contradicts the score that the PBP guy just gave (NNA vs. Wesley)

10-0 with the XP... end of the first at Charles A. Gaetano Stadium.

And why does he keep calling Fisher St. John's?? UGH!!

Touchdown Springfield 19-3... they make an extra point!!

John McGraw

The only time we used sports casts during breaks at WICB was during baseball season. You figure, at most, two minutes during an inning break is more than enough for a sports cast. Heck, on the local TV news here in Syracuse, the guy on Channel 3 only gets two minutes for sports - the "Two-Minute Drill."

For football, I'd play an under-writing announcement in between quarters. I think at the most, it went 1:30. Then its right back to the field.

I agree, and that's What My partner and I did during our tenure as announcers...

Pukey Lukey throws another INT that will about do it.

Utica punted from their end zone, the Alfred returner fumbled and the Pioneers recovered... could be a break for the Pioneers..

Wow, another SC pass.

... and they do nothing with it ... Utica gains no yards and runs a fake on 4th and 10... alfred ball at their 39-yard-line

Sharpe's a beast.

They say screw it with the kicking game, go for two and make it.  27-3.

Lookout Fisher and Ithaca...

Not to be critical, but I don't think Zack luke is the answer at QB...

Meanwhile Brockport Fumbles and Springfield recovers.

I'm starting to feel like a Utica fan!

2004: (6-4, 3-2 ACFC)
2005: (5-5, 4-1 ACFC)
2006: (2-4, 2-0 ACFC)

B-Port has turned into just another mediocre DIII team.

Keep in mind that 2004 was Bob Darnley's senior year.

That's rough, but it's tough to listen to the broadcast when your team struggles.
