Good points MIOH,  +img K... I forgot to tell you all that my season has come to a close.  Totally focused on D3football and Da Bombers from now on!   Its sad i put this board ahead of work but, hey, everyone needs a hobby!

Ahh... It's good to be back in the office & on D3 again.  I missed you all while I was away so it's +K to everyone this morning... and img. +K to the dubbs.  

I see the Cortland/Fisher Folks are starting to get acquainted w/ each other.  

Now that tickets are about to go on sale... I'm ready to start the Cortland hating.  I was singing their praises earlier this year before the port game... I'm done w/ the Cortland lovefest!  I don't think they are as good as we all might think.  They have played a pretty soft schedule thus far and are about ready for their late season collapse.  Let's look at C-State's next 4 weeks.

It's time the Red Dragons were exposed for what they really are... an overrated defensive team that has yet to beat the Bombers in their new "Chugger".  Which brings me to my morning list...

Reason's why I hate Cortland's new Chugger...
It's located in Cortland, NY
We all have to worry about getting tickets to the biggest game in D3... when before we just worried about who was driving... and who was picking up the beast light and hot dogs.  
They could fit about 4,000 more people inside than they sell tickets for because of "safety" reasons.

Well....IC has some big games to get through before they can even start thinking about Cortland.  Also, I think theres a good chance of Cortland coming into Cortaca undefeated.  Good showing this weekend....with Rowan coming off an unimpressive victory over Buff State.  I know there was a lot of other factors with the Rowan/Buff State game, but that should have been a thrashing.

With Alfred being a dark horse, it really is a pipedream for us to make the tourney.  However, we still have a faint glimmer of hope, but I need to decide who I'm rooting for in the big matchups down the stretch.

Obviously the Saxons would have to win out for any scenario (unless there was some goofy three-way tie at 2 losses a piece for second place, but even then Alfred would be on the short end of national opinion).  So, assuming AU has a dream run in them who should I be rooting for in SJF vs. SC and IC vs. SC?

I'm leaning toward rooting for SC to win out since coupling that with AU winning out would give SJF 2 losses and IC 3 losses, but AU could still win the E8 is SC lost to SJF and IC and the Saxons won out. 

I know that this is just a dream, but if you live in Alfred you need something to dream about while you wait for the Alfred Sun to come out each week.  Interested on your thoughts on the scenarios and your thoughts on what the final E8 standings will be.

Fisher beats SC 35-21  Utica puts a scare into Ithaca but Ithaca monkey stomps them in the end
Alfred will lose to at least either SJF or IC but more than likely both  and I think IC beats SC in the end  so fisher 6-0 IC 5-1 SC 4-2 Alfred 3-3

I agree that it is very unlikely, but my original premise was in considering what the Saxons' chances would be if they won out.  Since an NCAA berth is still within the realm of possibility, I'm trying to decide who to root for in the SJF/SC and IC/SC games.

I think you could switch Utica and Hartwick in this scenario. I believe Utica will beat Norwich and Hartwick in conference. I just hope they don't get destroyed these next two weeks by Ithaca and Fisher, which unfortunately has happened the last few years.
