What about Wesley?

Wesley is in the South region.....

I think....

They are covered in the Around the East by Budcrew, but according to the NCAA they are in the South....

How can you say this is Cortland's first convincing win, they are 6-0...that sounds like 6 convincing wins to me....lets not forget, a lot of the points they let up this year, came late in the game, with back ups in or late special team break downs

No matter where we go, it's about who we are.......C-STATE!!!!!!!!

What's the story behind that? Have met most of the Keeley Klan but they have too much class to speak of any ill feelings with SJF. Paul fits very nicely into the scheme of things at Saxonville, both on the field and on campus. Just a great kid.
On Saxon Warriors! On to Victory!
...Fight, fight for Alfred, A-L-F, R-E-D!

Point out 6 "convincing" wins to me by Cortland.....

Beating Willy P and Buff state (combined 1-11) by 16 and 18 respectivley is not convincing...

Beating newcomer Mo'ville state is not convincing......

Only putting up 17 vs Brockport is not convincing......

West Con was their first good team they've faced and they beat them, so kudos....

Ive felt that they're the best team in the region for a few weeks now so quit yer bitchin....

I worked with Paul a few times while helping out an old boss on the weekends and I got to know him a bit....

He's a great kid, very low key and humble.....

Lets just say that he didnt get a realistic shot at the starting job there......

xdragon58

so if they beat montclair this weekend, will you guys finaly give them the respect the deserve?

Jesus alot of us, even some IC Folk before they started getting Cortaca Fever, think that Cortland is the best team in the region.....

Stop crying....

xdragon58

who is crying....we deserve some respect for once........as for cortaca fever, we both have a lot of big games before that date comes, and i can only hope that we both run the table till then.....should be a great one though.....

To: E8 and NYS d3 football fans,

Yes, it's Saxon 73.  I haven't been active for sometime due to personal illness and some serious family matters.

Regardless I have tried to read as many posts as possible and it is very interesting to read without responding.

Let's try my version of an objective view with no malice towards any of the competing teams.

Cortland - Yet to play a team of serious strength

Fisher -  Beat Ithaca
             Didn't beat Brockport by much
Beat King's - At this time not of significance

Hobart -  Undefeated. but inside information admits they are really
              struggling

Ithaca - Lost to Fisher but can't be counted out

Alfred - Lost to Sp'fld but a fumble inside Sp'fld's 5 yard line could
have  changed the outcome or certainly led to an overtime game.

Bottom Line is don't count out the Saxons.  It can't be just a three way competition as Ithaca and then Fisher finish the regular season at Alfred.
Springfield can be beaten as they have shown no passing offense but still confound their opponent.
The Hobart game at AU preceding the aforementioned games will indeed be enlightening. All may not be what seems forespoken.

To all my previous contacts on this site I hope only the best and may the best team win and go on and on in the playoffs.

Best wishes,

Saxon 73
