Thanks alot PEP,

Maine is too far for me.  I was hoping Fisher was at SPringfield, but alas.

Maybe there is a Union or RPI game I can go to.  Haven't really looked yet.

Welcome aboard, SJFF82. Perhaps you remember me from the Daily Dose last week.

Maine is likewise too far for me. Could have flown with the team but would have cost me a day at the library and a colleague already was taking off today. Could also have driven to NH and stayed with relatives there, then on to the game tomorrow morning.

I have secured the SID's cell phone number (the press box phone at Winkin Complex is out of order) and also the phone number for the Husson College radio station (no internet broadcast) so that I can get updates. I'll probably be online here posting updates as they become available.

The pep band already has made three road trips (Springfield, Hartwick, Utica) and I made the trip to St. Lawrence so I'm looking forward to a Saturday at home for a change.

Saxon 73:
Union is off this week, RPI is at Kings Point....
there's always Utica at Ithaca.....having seen AU vs. Utica last week, perhaps you could scout the Bombers, for what it's worth.

Thanks for the greeting AUPep...I do remember our 'little' exchange...all in good fun of course.  You did get us good last year...and I look forward to my bi-annual drive to cold Merrill Field in a couple weeks.

You a former player?

PEP,

Yeah, I just checked those games.  Utica isn't far and I can stay at my sister's house.  Just might go!  Home stands are good but must check the weater report.  All new tires on my Firebird so I may be there.

Best Wishes'

AUPepBand,

Not sure if I mentioned it when I saw you at Utica, but my daughter the Drum Major, accomplished flute and piccolo player, has decided to go to Penn State.  She will be in the "Blue Band" and travel all over the country with the football team.  I am very proud of her with her musical ability and 3.7 GPA.  Ergo I am sorry the Pep Band lost this recruit.

To be perfectly honest with you, Sax73, accomplished music majors do not comprise the AU Pep Band....your daughter is much better off at Penn State with the "Blue Band." Without a music major at AU, Pep Band gets all kinds with most having the common ground of being crazy Saxon fans OR having had their arm twisted by AUPepBand.

Incidentally, you're right about the Miami Hurricanes....Larry Coker's either gotta get some control or he's out of there. Thugs can't be tolerated in college football.

As a "Thug" U fan I cant stand LC.  He's done NOTHING since taking over the program from Butch Davis, the team that won the National Title was Butch's team.

I want him out and Butch back in, Butch was a better disciplinarian and whipped the "Thugs" in shape and made them play with more poise than the current 'Canes teams.

Butch had some sweet O-lines compared to these turnstyles that LC has brought in...

Spoke with him today to make arrangements. AUPepBand wears many hats, one of which includes press credentials.  :)

Anyone heard if the Prides fullback Jackson is gonna be ready for the game. I know he left last weeks game with a tender ankle. Gonna be a little tougher to run that option if the big guy isn't able to power the inside running game. SJF will be able to key on Sharpe if that happens.
