Some of you other fisher guys may want to back me on this, as i have been one of the few on here to speak my mind, but that really was a childish inflammatory statement bombs.  Maybe your lemmings like it but your humor died along with your undergraduate education....

Looks like the Saxons will host the state's top-ranked team on Saterday; meanwhile, AU (6-1) musters all of three votes in the NYS D3 Poll, same as in the D3Football.com poll. Perhaps with a win over Hobart, the Saxons could get a few more votes.

As the resident pessimistic IC fan, I have to agree with FA91... I don't think SJF has proven to be worse than IC just yet. IC has yet to have a convincing win over a convincing opponent.

And UR over Alfred? I haven't seen Alfred this year, but UR is soooooo overrated! They squeaked out two home wins against the Larries and Merchant Marine, trounced the worst team in the LL, whereas Alfred has won all of their games (with the exception of the Larries, 17-14) convincingly and played Springfield as close as anyone has all year. Alfred could beat anyone in the E8 or LL at any given time, I think most people here would agree with that. I doubt anyone would say the same about UR.

But for much of the season this has been a great board-
most if not all of us get along, and enjoy the season.
This kid still is intent on reliving his "storied" past as a "on air" talent that was borderline funny when he ws in school.

And you know what is the kicker- many of you IC guys buy it.

TGP can't take criticism?  

This clearly is an opportunity to utilize TGP's liberal arts education to stop and get to know TGP's inner P!  

Ohmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
TGP has been zinged by some of the best post patterns has to offer.  TGP has been posting on the boards since 2003 (under many different handles) and has been ribbed by all comers.  TGP never takes anything personally posted here.  

However, TGP prolly can tell you why TGP over-reacted.  Something about certain IC comments that gets TGP all fired up.  Kind of like a when TGP (a life long Red Sox fan) gets ribbed by TGP's best friend (a Yankees fan).  TGP's inner Sox fan can take it to an extent, but certain statements are going to set TGP off every time.

You see, to TGP, IC is like the NYY of Upstate NY - always been loaded with talent and success.  Problem is, the rest of the leagues have caught up with (and in several cases surpassed) them and all the while IC (and their fans) insist they are still the shizz and all the teams that keep getting better still don't amount to s*** compared to them.  

As exhausted BA may be from hearing the "over-hype" about Alfred, try and put yourself in the shoes of a former player/fan/alumni of schools like Alfred (or SJF, Hobart, whatever) who have been told they suck and will always suck by IC for the last 20 years (even after they beat IC - in some cases, pretty badly)?

There's a difference between smack and continuing to perpetrate disrespect.

Ok, TGP needs to return to self-meditation to find his "chi".  Or is it medication?  Maybe both?!?!?

I don't have cable. When MNF switched to ESPN, I didn't think I'd care, given the extra game on Sunday. I've found that I do care. After watching the Bills at 1, I am pretty much done with football most Sundays. I miss having that little extra push on Monday night.

That was kind of out of the blue, but I just thought of it. Also, I'm approaching 200.
