Weekend prediction:
AU - 17
Hobart- 10

Write up goes something like this. "Hobart jumped on the board first with an early 2nd quarter touchdown.  Just before half Paul Keeley threw a 30 yard td to Bork.  Hobart answered in the 3rd with a field goal to take the lead back at 10-7.  After a fumble, AU takes the lead on a 7yd run by E-money Newsome.  And with 5minutes left to play, Alfred kicks a field goal to preserve the win and set up a showdown with Ithaca, who also won 45-35."

Put it in the books.

Should be a good one either way, however, TGP has faith that the past couple of weeks of Bart getting better on offense (avg 400 yds game) and defense (less than 13 pts allowed) will help Bart come away with the win.

It is truly crazy.  I stopped going the year someone was walking around poking people with an AIDS infected hyperdermic needle.

A buddy of mine got mugged in Vancouver with one of those. The guy pointed at some dudes across the street, said they were the Chinese mafia and he had to pay a toll. Then he whipped out the syringe. My buddy says he thought "well, I'm bigger than this guy and could probably take him, and odds are there's no AIDS in that needle. but, hell, i don't think i wanna mess with the Chinese mafia."

The end of the story is that the guy was polite enough to give him his wallet back after he took the money.

What were we talking about again?

So what exactly would the weapons be that the Chinese mafia would carry?
Throwing Stars, Sai's, Katana blades, nun-chuks and bo staff are automatically in, but would they also have a dood with a camera phone and a graphing calculator?

Hypodermic needles anywhere outside a medical setting are nothing to mess with. Odds are even if it didn't have AIDS, it could have Hepatitis and if you're gonna get hepatitis, ya might as well get it from Pam and make it worth getting!

Now accepting new patients. All bills must be paid in scotch shortly after any services rendered.  Sorry TDT, no problems below the waist.

Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means a whale's vagina.

+k.  It was worth it when I got it from her.  We videotaped it.  I heard it leaked to the internet but never looked it up.  Anyone ever seen our vid?

I can't decide which I like better....

Al-Bart Bowl?
or
Ho-Fred Cup?

Probably not worth a poll, but would be interested to see what posters prefer.

That was Ho's score at Canton last week....

AUPepBand Game Plan: Get the fight song ready, play it early and often.

Actually, Hobart and Alfred are very similar. Both have solid defenses. Both offenses appear pretty balanced. Hobart has had a long run of wins in the series after AU had done the same earlier. Last time AU played an unbeaten Hobart (at Boswell) it went into OT with Statesmen winning 25-19. Scores since retirement of Alex Yunevich:
2003--Hobart 20-12
2002--Hobart 25-19 (OT)
2001--Hobart 24-21
2000--Hobart 20-14
1999--Hobart 29-20
1998--Hobart 40-3
1997--Hobart 58-19
1996--Hobart 31-26
1995--Alfred 35-14
1994--Alfred 35-21
1993--Hobart 19-14
1992--Hobart 28-17
1991--Alfred 30-10
1990--Alfred 37-10
1989--Alfred 28-14
1988--Alfred 48-7
1987--Alfred 21-14
1986--Alfred 12-7
1985--Hobart 16-14
1984--Alfred 21-9
1983--TIE 7-7
1982--Alfred 13-10
1981--Alfred 21-7
1980--Alfred 28-14
1979--Alfred 28-22
1978--Alfred 27-0
