Driving facts to potential playoff schools from my house:

Curry- 6:30, 401 mi.
Hobart- 1:00, 51 mi.
Union- 3:30, 215 mi.
Rowan- 6:00, 367 mi.
Cortland- 2:15, 125 mi.
Wilkes- 4:00, 242 mi.
Springfield- 5:15, 317 mi.
Alfred- 1:40, 86.82

I left out Fisher because it's like 20 minutes away, and IC because I can do that drive in my sleep.

Here's hoping IC doesn't go anywhere near Curry or Rowan....

EDIT: I KNOW there's no chance of IC going to, like, Alfred for a playoff game. I was bored, all right?

Max - thats good stuff....now I am playing scenarios in my head for the weekend of the 18th and the weekend after thanksgiving.  I'll be in Boston for the 18th, Curry might work for me there (but don't think that happens)....maybe a second trip to Cortland for the 25th?? Ohhh, this is gonna fester now.

question--does the bye week help or hurt fisher?

maxpower

The bye week helps hurt Fisher. For Robinson and Kramer to get banged up at that point and have this week to recover is a blessing for "The Cardinal." Any info on how close Kramer is? Not having him for Alfred would be a blow.

Probably both.

Helps them heal and rest for a late season push.

Hurts their timing.  Hard to take a bye week and disrupt your rhythm late in the year.  The Gators looked out of sync coming off their bye week.

EDIT: I also am undecided how it effects their mental prep for Alfred.  They could either take the two weeks to become really focused on the stakes OR take the two weeks to overthink Alfred and come out tight knowing the implications.

I think IC having two bye weeks (sorry budcrew) really helped going into the Springfield game... if they had gone into that game straight off of Fisher/Port it could have been a different story, even at Butterfield.

I think that was surchasm 2 dubbs

ah,  10-4... not worthy of consistent post vocab though right? meaning not another saterday incident?

maxpower

Unfortunately no, but it is Alfred week. There's plenty of time yet.

chris7sarge

Not sure I get the Alfred joke.
Bye week does not hurt Fisher because I'm sure they 1) have injuries that need to heal and 2) still feel a little ticked off from AU jumping on them last year.
Coming out tight?  Maybe.  But they certainly won't overlook AU.  I still like Keeley though.

You say that as if there has only been one...and it is only Monday.

It's hard for me to get my grades plugged into my computer and still stay current with all the verbal sparring.  Teacher workday today.  That means no kids.  Also means I get to listen to the IC hooligans all day.  Good or bad?  Not sure.

Also, off the top of anyone's head, is there a team down south anywhere that might be hosting playoff games?  I'd love to see a couple playoff games and dont mind travelling from Greensboro.  Might be able to help with some scouting (for Alfred's playoff run).

I'd say there is a plethora of teams.  You might even call it a region.
