And if Union beats Hobart, Hobart beats Rochester, would you change your mind?

Any chance a low pool B team (like a 2 loss Linfield) steals a Pool C?

I would love to see three E8 teams in the tourney.

Yea, these rankings are flawed.  Im trying not to be biased (being an Ithaca fan) but I just dont see how you can put Springfield over Ithaca.  What did SC do to deserve to put them over IC?

Is SC getting better down the stretch?  I dont think so with a big loss last week.

Does SC have injuries?  I didnt hear of any.

Did SC beat Boston College or anything?  No, they did squeak by Union in the first game and beat up on SJF but that shouldnt  effect things that much.

D3football.com top 25 poll is the only poll that Im going to pay attention to from now on.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

On a side note, I just recently watched the highlights from the SJF/IC game.  Now I wasnt there nor did I see the whole game but it appeared to me that 3 of SJF's Touchdowns were big plays off of one missed tackle by linebackers that werent even blocked.  Im not saying IC would have won the game if those 3 tackles were made but does anyone know what Im talking about here?

Yeah Linfield could get in with a win over Whitworth.  My hunch is that someone out of Carnegie Mellon/Wash and Jeff. picks up another loss regardless.

Union over Hobart ineed puts a cramp in my style.  Out of my seven teams, Franklin and Ithaca are probably the most vulnerable to another loss.  Hobart would replace them.

I know exactly what you're talking about Utah.  It should be mentioned that our best OLB was out that game with a broken hand.  The other starting OLB hasn't started since that game.

I'm no football whiz, but it appeared the outside LB's were caught overpersuing, which left the outside wide open for Robinson to bounce out to.  This was especially evident on Ithaca's right side.

Utah-

I was at the game and Robinsons two TD runs early in the second half were pretty legit. The first one the backer didn't have a very good angle & Mark ran through an attempt at an arm tackle - the other there was just a ridiculously huge hole and he bounced it to the outside. That was the ballgame.

As for Springfield locking up the conference, I just don't see Fisher getting the help from King's and U of R that they need.

Im pretty sure that alot of TD's for both teams came from one person missing a tackle.

Are you talking about the highlights off of youtube.com or are they on IC's website?

That's true, they were caught inside. Having a starter out I don't think would have made the difference in that game. That's kind of like saying if Stepnick was playing vs. Springfield it would have mattered.

Best case scenario for UR/Kings is that they both go 1-1 over the next two weeks.  I dont see those two teams taking down 3 regionally ranked teams.....

In a completely unrelated statement, Boise State playing on ESPN...Gotta love that Blue field...Gotta play tricks on a fan after drinking a few cold ones....

Yea I was talking about the youtube.com highlights although I did see the Ithaca news clip as well.  (cant seem to find that one now online for some reason.)

But SJF big TDs were off of long runs and what appeared to be missed tackles/mental mistakes.  Granted IC wasnt even close to that but their TD and FG were off of sustained drives correct?
