Again, Im not making excuses and I wasnt at the game but to me it seems like SJF had 4 big plays on some key IC mistakes, Instead of a game where SJF dominates on the scoreboard and stats with long sustained drives and total domination.

-

I think that's the case with any game vs two good teams.  Games like those are always decided by a handfull of plays, either a break down by the opposition or players just make a big play.

In that 2nd half SJF had close to 300yds of offense and 147 of them came on scoring plays (56, 20, 2, 4, 65).

Where is this analysis going guys? Slowly wittling away reasons why Fisher won the game down to the point where it was luck?

It's over. Bottom line is that Fisher pounded the Bombers in the second half. Does that mean it would happen if a rematch were to occur? Of course not, these two teams are neck & neck and can beat each other on any given day of the week. Fisher was better that Saterday - period.

Thanks Tags.  To me, getting pounded is when you dominated the stats, scoreboard, first downs, TOP, etc, and had little or no help from turnovers, wind, field conditions, fluke plays, trick plays and the like.  I was just trying to add something thats all.

And by the way, can we get someone to get all Ithaca games (or all e8 games for everyone) on youtube?  Couldnt be that hard right?  I guess the schools/coaching staffs woulndt want all that to get out either though

true, tags, I think what's done is done...However even I would say it was a lot closer than 34-10.

Shouldn't Ithaca be talking about Alfred or something?

Not always.  Did you see the Patriots game the other night?  Domination.  It wasnt even close.  Every single aspect of the game was dominated by the Patriots.

That's assuming that the Vikings are a good team. I haven't bought the Vikings hype yet... didn't look all that good vs. the Bills... and that's bad.

No offense bills fans - kind of true right now though.

Don't get me started on that game, I was up by 43 pts in my fantasy league going into that game.  My opponent had Brady left, needless to say he scored 42.68 pts and I had was having a stroke the entire game.

But i get what your saying...

Easy on the Bills bashing....

This team would of won at least 3 championships by now if it wasn't for Ralph "Cheapo" Wilson.

He never hire's a strong minded head coach....

He's made ZERO big time free agent signings, sure he's extended contracts, but besides Takeo Spikes name ONE big free agent that's he's given the money too....

He ran Polian and Butler out of town and this team hasnt sniffed the playoffs since, while the Colts and Chargers (Smith's now the GM and former Buffalo scout under Butler) are winning games and gettin to the playoffs....

He whines and cries all the time and wonders why the Bills always play the Pats after the Pats bye week....

Soon as Ralph kicks it and some real owners buy the team (Gallisano and Jim Kelley have been rumored to be interested in NFL ownership) maybe then they'll be able to do something in the league....

Well, I'm a bills fan, but I find it hard to believe that they would have won 1 championship, let alone 3!  The players are the ones who blew the FOUR attempts they had at it.

Dah, wasn't bills bashing Upstate... just the truth. Bills are tough to watch as of late.

You just have to look at your core - ah there it is, the bills have no core leadership. Losman doesn't know what the hell is going on between what they did to his head last year & the line they threw in front of him this year.

They need leaders like back in the day. People that will be there like Kelly, Smith, Bennett, etc...

I agree Wilson is the cause for his own headaches... letting Moulds go? Why would you do that. At least he was a veteran who could teach the young guys, plus he is far from washed up... things like that are killing the Bills right now.

Im not talking about the early 90's....

Im talking about the post 4 straight era....

They just happend to play some really GREAT teams in those 4....

Was totally in favor of getting rid of Moulds...

He showed his true colors last year, he couldnt handle playing second fiddle to Lee and started to cry....

That is no leadership and thats nothing I want a 10yr vet teaching the younger guys....
