Rowdy Rowdy Bomber took his girlfriend to her first football game. Afterward he asked her how she liked the game.

"I liked it, but I couldn't understand why they were killing each other for 25 cents," she said.

"What do you mean?" he asked.

"Well, everyone kept yelling, 'Get the quarter back!'"

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

Here is my East Top Ten

1. Cortland
2. Wesley
3. Hobart
4. Springfield
5. St. John Fisher
6. Ithaca
7. Union
8. Rowan
9. Rochester
10. RPI/Alfred

Predictions:

1. Cortland over Rowan in a close one
2. Ithaca over Alfred as much as I hate to say it
3. Springfield over Hartwick
4. Hobart over Union

Let me know your thoughts.

Rowan at #8 in the east??  i know they have only lost one game against d3 competition but they have not impressed thus far.  I would put them in at #10.  Also you forgot Curry who will be the NEFC representative.  A  Rowan loss this weekend to Cortland will basically end their playoff hopes barring any crazy upsets.
St. John Fisher College...King of the East

I really believe a NYS team will represent the East Region in the national semi-finals.  That would be a great thing for small college football in NYS.  RPI was the last team from NYS to make it to the semi's.  Hopefully someone will do it.

FA05,
The Saxons will be more than happy to oblige.  Perhaps you can throw your rooting weight behind AU for the next several weeks and help grease the wheels of the Saxon bandwagon.  I would think Alfred winning the East would benefit all NYS schools the most as recruits who got lost looking or tired searching for Alfred would stop by other schools in the region, maybe even some of the struggling programs like Ithaca, Fisher, Cortland or Hobart.
Check out the official card game of the AU Pep Band - Str8 Eight!
